No such contradicting argument at all. Watch the two guys fight, they are are not even close.

Forget it, ANY time you mention Mayweather in any form, unless you state he is the best offensive fighter, best defensive fighter, highest action fighter with the most power of all time one of his fanboys crawls out of the woodwork and has an issue with it.

    whatever......

Well, no two fighters fight exactly alike. However, no way is Dawson's style of fighting more similar to Mayweather's than Ward. Also, I have to go back to you saying that fighter who fights on the inside and the outside, and lands plenty of clean, effective punches is not boring. Not only did you say that, but then you said that you know nothing about boxing if you think that type of fighter is boring. Then you turned around and said Mayweather is the 3rd most boring fighter in the sport. There is some real inconcistencies in your reasoning.

Your questioning my logic, and calling me fanboy. However, you can't even argue against what I'm saying. Instead you're arguing against imagineary points that I never made. Your statements have been contradictory, and your assesements have been off. No need to resort to personal attacks just because I pointed it out.

I explained my logic. Ward initiates offense, throws more punches, and throws more combos. Floyd doesn't do those things anymore. He did at the lighter weights, not at the current weights.

You have said nothing to refute ANY of that.

The only way you can call my statements contradictory is if you think Ward and Mayweather fight the same style, and those are the comparisons you brought up.

The fact you do not acknowledge ANY of that makes me question your ability to be unbiased in assessing Floyd right now. Thus the fanboy moniker.

Let's test out your basic reasoning skills her. Earlier you stated that Ward fights well on the inside, as well as the outside, and that he lands plenty of clean, effective punches. You also stated that labeling a fighter like this boring shows a lack of understanding of the sport. You also labeled Mayweather a boring fighter. This is what I objected to.

Now answer these questions; Does Mayweather fight well on the inside? Does he fight well on the outside? Does he land plenty of clean, effective punches? I think anyone who knows anything about the sport knows that the answer to those questions are obvious. And I think we both know that you clearly contradicted yourself.

Taking it a step farther, you have now attempted to change your argument by stating that Ward is exciting, while Mayweather is boring, because Ward throw more punches and throws more combos. However, you labeled Dawson boring even though he throws more punches than Ward and more combos as well. Your problem seems to be that you're trying to come up with a definitive criteria for what constitutes a boring fighter. That doesn't exist though. It's all in the eye of the beholder. You can try to create a definitive criteria if you'd like, but you're just going to end up contradicting yourself as you've already done in this thread.

    Your right I am sorry.

Mayweather is the greatest fighter in every aspect of the game in the history of the sport. No one throws more punches fighters better hits harder, and makes other fighters miss more than him, EVER. He could defeat Sugar Ray Robinson and Leonard at the same time.

    Feel better now........?

It's a good sport your missing.......

Is this post an attempt to deflect from the fact that you've been blatantly contradicting yoursel, or do you seriously not understand my argument?

let me clarify. from what i've read on other threads, he's a ward fanboy. i've read some posts on other topics reagarding ward and he is pretty biased towards him. hence his objection against ward being on that top 5 boring fighters list.

Ward is an extremely technically sound boxer that has phenomenal skills, but no power and I think featherfisted boxers are boring ,so I have to put ward, malignaggi ,hopkins ,yuri foreman, calderon on the list.

Haye belongs on any list of boring fighters. The two times he has fought an opponent with a pulse, he has stunk the joint out.

    Where is Sergio Mora?

Vazquez is a thinking man's fighter though his offense is coming out bit by bit. I can't dog him as he has faced Canelo, Bradley, Kim, and Prescott

I can only think of 2 fighters who are boring and sadly they are HWs

Vlad and Ruiz, maybe scratch ruiz now because he is inactive. so Vlad.

Pure boxing like hopkins, spinks, dawson, ward doesn't bore me, in fact it excites me more how brilliant they box
