Alright, rather than get dragged into another pissing match, I'll be the mature one this time and refuse to get sucked into a nonsensical debate with a clearly misinformed and biased poster. Waste other people's time.

And, yet again, I ask: name a half dozen top fighters that Chavez beat to deserve to be top 5 over the last 30 years. I'm not saying he wasn't an excellent fighter, not trying to start a pissing contest. But I've yet to hear any names. Camacho. Who else? Nevermind.

Here's 8 quality names he beat from 130-140. His resume is not the best in terms of quality, but in terms of quantity and consistency he's among the best of his time.

    Taylor
    Rosario
    Camacho
    Ramirez
    Mayweather
    Lockridge
    La Porte
    Haugen

    Leonard
    Whitaker
    Jones
    Holyfield
    Hopkins

Durans entire LW carrer was before 80, same with a lot of Haglers carrer, so it puts him below these fighters

Posters like you who need to be TOLD who is great yet argue are a waste of time, as Sweet Pea said. Why should anyone supply names of fighter that you likely never heard of will likely just discredit as meaningless wins? You're obvisouly a troll....

You should listen to yourself and not argue with him. Leads nowhere.

Fair enough. I may not agree, but respect the informed opinion.

Funny, because I think the other names deserve to be there hands down. Why's that? Because they fought top, atg fighters and won. Sometimes boxing fans are just sheep.

Really? I thought I'd catch all kinds of hell for that one. lol. He beat everybody at the time, and in a top LHW era, and beat them convincingly. Very underappreciated these days, only because he was destroyed by a Tyson, a true HW, and because he retired after that. I think the Hagler-Hearns-Duran trio is pretty interchangeable. There were all so ATG, how do exclude one?
