I don't think I've claimed Golota is a better win than Bowe, correct me if I'm wrong.

I also don't think Bowe was washed up, just lazy and enjoyed his food too much. How great Bowe was is another debate, let's face it as good as he looked against Holyfield from footage you can see that he was very upright and moved in straight lines. Add to this outside of Holyfield x2 his record is **** weak and nothing to brag about.

He didn't look old against Tyson, Moorer or Bean in the 2 years prior to Lewis. Against Bean you could tell he was fighting to Beans level but still an easy nights work.

Say what? I've never heard this and I've followed Lewis since his early days, source?

Ali won because Foreman fought one of the worst ATG performances I've ever seen. 100 degree heat and winging bombs whilst wide open. Holyfield fought a good fight, stuck to his gameplan. I'd also argue that Lewis did dominate Holyfield in the first fight, 9-3 or 10-2.

I don't give him more props, just props, but it's more for the style of the wins. Upto the point McCall quit Lewis was dominating, and against Rahman, well, one of the best HW ko's ever.

I prefer to rank fighters on what they actually did instead of on what they perhaps would do.

I agree. I also apologise to the TS for turning this into a Lewis thread.

It´s either Ali or Louis. Depends on what is more important to you: resume or achievements/dominance. In the end it´s still subjective but still better than pure speculation which h2h is.

    Dempsey beats most of those.
You show you have anti-Dempsey issues by saying he's below David Haye. Absolutely ridiculous, and disgraceful.

.... but amusing, I must admit. I'd like to hear more names you think would beat a prime Dempsey, it's funny.

Dempsey would destroy Tim Witherspoon, by the way.

If this primitive Gene Tunney beat Tyson, Henry Maske would obliterate him. :deal

Dempsey is Top 10, but not Top 5.

    He ducked Harry Wills.
