    Hey guys!

Longtime lurker here, just decided to make an account to get you guys opinions on my Training schedule. Before you ask what my goals are, it is for amateur boxing. Already had my first bout, but lost it (still learnt tons though!). Also before you kill me for not running, I simply cannot, as i have a really bad knee injury which kills to run on.

    Monday -
Boxing session w/my club (Shadow boxing, heavy bag, pads, INTENSE sparring lol, and either skipping or biking depending on how my knee is, and then we end with ground work).

    Tuesday -
Morning: Interval swimming (2 mins swimming vigorously front crawl/1 min rest, and i repeat for 6 rounds)

Evening: Padwork session and sometimes a little spar. Finished off with a 5-10 minute ab conditioning.

    Wednesday -
    Same as Monday.

    Thursday -
Same as Tuesday minus the morning swim (damn college lol)

    Friday -
Exactly the same as Tuesday including the morning swim.

    Saturday -
Weights/Strength training session focusing on my back.

    Sunday -
Sunday is strict rest for moi.

So thats it guys, tell me what you think of my schedule and how you think i can improve it

You're schedule seems good, I would add more sparring but not extreme, slow it down. Just jabs, 1 2s, just body, just defense, just offense, only combinations.

Add shadow boxing, skipping ropes or other boxing related exercises as warm up for conditioning/strength sessions. No point in NOT working on technique when you're working out!

If you're putting any kind of intensity into your training you're probably doing too much.
