My weight 91 Height 6,3 Tell me what you think please.Cheers in 2 weeks i upload new video from my workout so you will see that when I am in training I am better (better speed, power and lightness).4 weeks of rest it very long for me and and my level is falling.
first thing i noticed was you need a better pad man lol he looks like hes scared your going to hit him
Your elbows are way too flared, should be touching your sides at all times unless throwing a shot, useing the feet and kness to move the head is good but you need actual movement (like stepping with it) otherwise a good fighter will put a shot where he knows youre going to be so make sure you keep him honest and he cant just guess where your going and be right so easily. the front knees should have more of a pop from the pelvis and a step rather than just lifting the knee into the target. forward knees are easiest in terms of technique, so if your overlooking technique on those then you will be on the rest of the side/slapping knee strikes so definently work on the knees and perfect them, doubling up the knee with the same leg. when working the clinch work the clinch move the opponent off balance so he steps into a knee youve thrown either a good side knee or a quick push and front knee to catch em on way back in after resisting against the push, spread your fingers up the back of his head as far as you can to get more leverage on his head while pulling him down into the shot, and the uppercuts need a lot of work if you want power in them, rather than just a scoring shot. apart from these few things you dont look bad, of course there was no foot jabs, side knees, kicks, elbows or ground work of any kind, maybe add some on the next video so we can get a complete look at what your doing from a mma point of view, obveousely youve posted in the boxing forum but since you mentioned mma and did some clinch work i thought you might want some constructive criticism on that too.
Not sure the exact rules but It's allowed. Couple guys from a local mma gym who have pro fights have fought on my boxing gyms shows. Just to stay busy and get more experience.
Oh yes also very very important if youre wanting to fight in the cage, you must learn to keep switching stance otherwise a half desent mma practitioner will wreck your front leg with round houses everytime you try somthing and youll be a sitting duck for takedowns, also if theyre going for the leg kick and you switch on them you can catch them with their pants down. if you want your boxing to be effective in the cage at all this is a must otherwise youll never get a chance to box and i noticed that you dont switch at all which is very odd for a proffesional cage fighter? :smooch will look forward to the next video upload, maybe some kicks, elbows and better variety of knees so we can see the full range of strikes.
your jab sucks dude, its like you dont care about it and only use it for range finding or setting up the other punches, you need to throw it with some bad intention! watch miguel cotto or wlad klitschko fight.
nice vid, but why did you edit it so much?? it would be better if we could see the raw footage so people can give you errrr advice.
