Gatti was a great warrior. Not many fighters can do what he did. Gatti showed skills against Patterson. Later he became a monster in the ring and was always willing to go out on his shield. He earned his fame and fortune with his blood. He did not cheat the fans, never. I will miss him. Sangue! Sangue! Sangue!
Probably the most well deserved retirement EVER in boxing was cut short after 2 measly years. i hope karma ****s the person who done this over
great vid freddy! R.I.P to a true worrior he was what boxing is all about, heart on his sleeve in every fight, best boxer? no he wasnt but biggest heart and the best fights? definatly
nice work freddy. its ironic that a tough as nails fighter like gatti met his end as he did..though lets wait to see what transpires. for the record i dont agree with dan raphael that gatti would have stayed retired...but that doesnt matter anymore.
Thanks man for posting this video, Gatti will be sadly missed, he gave and took shots from the best of them, Gatti's fights will live forever in the hearts of true Boxing fans.
Ivan Robinson was there Saturday night at the Prudential Center, working the corner of Philadelphia junior middleweight Tyrone Miles on the Adamek-Gunn undercard. Robinson’s bottom lip quivered as he spoke about his former foe, about someone who in Robinson’s words, “made me.” “It was tough to hear,” Robinson said. “I’m hurt, I’m really hurt, and I’m not afraid to say it. It’s really hard to believe, but hearing Arturo died touched me. People loved this guy, and who can you talk to who didn’t love him?” Sometime on Saturday night Robinson will have caught a train back to Philadelphia, giving him time to absorb the horrible news. “I’ll sit by myself and cry, thinking about Arturo,” he said. “Tonight I’m going to cry on the way home because I lost a friend today.”
what you posted there really touches home. people do find themselves in the hardest and lowest times of their life. robinson and ward will always be tied to gatti because the physical pain of their fights is immaterial compared to the man it made them today. thats the point im trying to make when im critical of people on this board who only post, abuse online, but are afraid to step into the ring. if you cant face your fears after the death of gatti you probably never will. where else will you get the inspiration.
Great Video nice to see fans showing there affection for this warrior!!!! and your right Gatti would die for us...i seen him get beaten badly and not quit.
awww **** I just read the news, I was away for a few days and seen something about HBO's sypathies go out to Gattis family and Im thinking oh come on dont be what I think it is. damn man thats just messed up, why they got to die so young, he was a good man with a ton of heart
