close fight could have gone either way but scores could have been separated wider depending on what the person favors more.

So.... Pac outlanded Marquez all fight, Pac forced the pace of the fight, forced the action, Pac kept the intensity for the whole fight while Marquez eased off, half of Marquez's apparent cleaner hits didn't even land, and despite Marquez apparently having the better punches, he was the one who ended up with the messed up face. Oh, and Marquez should have had a point deducted for deliberately stepping on his opponent's foot.

I have no problem with a draw or narrow victory to either guy. Those who are screaming robbery are just fools.

Obviously, your scorecard has already been filled up even before the fight has started just like MARQUEZ excuse before he even stepped into the ring! :hat

Dude you are horribly biased poster. Nothing you say can be taken seriously on this matter. I've seen some posts from you and you are an extreme Pac hater. Not saying JMM lost.

This post seals the deal for me. Incredible how seriously some people are taking themselves here. Self-praise, and at the samt time brushing off differing opinions as biased or "not having two eyes, never looks good if you want a serious argument.

I keep hearing "clean, effective punching". Well, that's all good. The question remains: what constitutes these punches? Snapping back opponents head? Busting him up? Allowing you to control the pace? Make your opponent hesitant? Make him tired? Hard punches? Hurtful punches?

Then we have the issue of number of punches. Is two half-clean punches more worth than one clean? What if the clean punch is percieved as to have hurt more?

It's not easy to grind down and I can bet you that the perceptions of the concept differ across judges and observers no matter how much people say that they premier clean, effective punching.

Humans make errors. I wouldn't be so full of myself as to say that accepting differing oponions of a fight beacause of perceptions is like saying "then we might as well argue that the grass is green", like I've heard a couple of times. That analogy is just... off. This is just so much more complex.

Factors as first time viewing, second time viewing, viewing without sound, viewing in slow-mo, viewing it knowing the result, with information about the fighters styles, expectations about outcome, commentary crew, crowd noise all factor in. It's a pretty big statement to say that you're not by any means influenced by these things. If so, I admire you.

It doesn't HAVE to be bias or corrupt judges (even though they surely exist too).

Puga ni nana makes a good and intelligent argument and is considered stupid... Well, that speaks more of the one who said it.

I watched it on a relatively unbiased Swedish broadcast and they also said it could have gone either way. They scored it for JMM.

Incidentally, so did I (two points). I'm definitely not Mexican, Floyd fan, ******* or anything of the sort. I just call it as I see it. But hell, I can be influenced about the commentary too even though we differed in the rounds scored for either fighter... Nobody completely free of bias and just like one poster says - saying "my unbiased scorecard" shouldn't have to be said.

And when people say that 47% scored it for JMM, they forget that 53% did NOT.

I'd like to see Floyd-Sergio (more evenly matched), JMM-Khan and Pac-Bradley. JMM-Pac 4 would also do, but a fight in between could spice it up. Pac annihilates Bradley whereas the other two are hard to predict.

This forum hates fighters. They despise them. It's sad really. I didn't watch the whole fight, but what I did see (think it was the last 7 rounds), I had JMM winning most of them. But there's NO USE arguing this here. Most posters in this thread are known Pac haters, extreme Floyd fans or too biased for Mexican fighters.

Most posters here are more preoccupied with the fight ending so they can hopefully come here and bash the fighter and its fans.

Same happened with Floyd and the ending against Ortiz.

actually there were 10 or 11 close rounds in the entire fight that i would not actually question anyone who has a 12-0 card for jmm or an 11-1 card for pacquiao. :deal
