Very solid up top, it gets a bit random as you go down, but that will always happen.

Dixon, McGovern, Carpentier and Villa deserve consideration; I think maybe Beau Jack, McCallum and Basilio could be removed.

But great effort these things are never easy to do.

One small thing Floyd Mayweather was a jorneyman of the 70s/80s Floyd Mayweather Jnr deserves consideration.;)

It's even better when they hang themselves with their own rope isn't it?

Guess I just pay more attention to some posters more than I do others. Call it a learned skill regarding boxing forums.

It's a decent list. Actually, it's very good. Seems like most of the right names are there. Of course, we can spend time debating the order in which they should go.

Personally, I wouldn't put Ray Leonard that high - with fighters like ARCHIE MOORE and JOE LOUIS several places beneath him !

Ray Leonard had some brilliant signature wins, a lot of ability, but a career splintered with inactivity, and retirements, all that jumping around new weight divisions.

I cant even begin to fathom how he'd be ranked ahead of Archie Moore.

    Pretty solid...Pea. good job.:good
Bob Foster needs a shout...and maybe I'd put guys like Gavilan, Napoles, and Williams ahead of Holyfield...But that is just my opinion. That is a tough undertaking...making a list like that.

Think thats a pretty fine list, of course we're all going to have discrepancies with it, but how hard is it to do a top 50 all time. I tried before and got too pissed off with my reasoning and abandoned it.

One more thing, Monzon should be higher. touching tenth place:yep
