Hey guys, here's my breakdown of the Cotto/Canelo fight. Hope you enjoy it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtINejZIlgI
Woh man, I hope you take critiquing well. Where do I start, right from the get you have a camera angle that's looking down on the viewer from a seemingly dark room ..creepy. I felt like I was looking up at a serial killer waiting on the final death blow. The plain black sweater didn't help either. You definitely wanna raise your camera angle, do something about the lighting, and wear something brighter and more colorful (like white and red be your color) If you can't do anything about the lighting place the camera above yourself to look less threatening. So anyway, it took me a sec to realize your not actually creepy and follow. Thing is, you didn't say anything that really made me feel like it was a worthwhile watch. If your gonna play it safe and not have any kind of shock value then why don't try throwing in a joke here and there as I see it says you dabble in comedy? I don't know, maybe it was the whole atmosphere throwing me off, not trying to sound like a *****, at least work on your atmosphere.
Yeah that's my bad, I was trying to hurry and get something in before work. (where I'm at now) didn't have much time look for wording with tact..now that I think about it, probably should've left it for a better time. Oh well, I just trying to help believe it or not.
Sorry for the lighting and camera angle. I will work on it. I appreciate the feedback. I am sure you didn't mean for it to come across harshly. I incorporate comedy into my podcast that I co-host along with my buddy where we discuss boxing in a light fashion but I am trying to be serious in my breakdown of fights and boxing in general. Joe Rogan is a comic as well but he is pretty serious when he is commentating on MMA. Thanks for checking it out. It was my first video so I will be improving and tweaking these things.
Spot on! Here was my quote on the breakdown: Cotto better take a page out of ggg vs lemiux and keep that jab popping. Keep him busy with it. Watch out for that upper and stay off the ropes. Don't fight in the pocket. Fight at a safe distance or inside, pushing him to the ropes and pounding the body
