I think a few people here are subscribed to my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMMusr54FwKIaaYHDaE7bmQ/videos), and for those who are not, if you frequent the Classic Boxing forum here than it's entirely possible that some of what I have up are your cup a tea. Anyhow, I mention this as I haven't been able to post anything significant there for the last 5 months while I was stuck with CenturyLink for an ISP. Couple weeks ago I got a new internet provider and I have been posting up various fights, many of which I edited into what could be, at a stretch, labeled "one of a kind." Example being Gatti vs Mayweather Jr in 1080p and 60FPS (meaning it is very much in HD) that Top Rank uploaded a few months ago. As it was the International feed they uploaded, the commentary was Dave Bontempo and I think a Sports writer from Grand Rapids. Anyway, I removed that audio and replaced it with HBO's audio and commentary for the same fight. Results seen below This content is protected
Great stuff Mario! Good to see you back (I did wonder where you'd gone!). I've just subscribed to your channel - thought I had before but I definitely have now. It's nice to have a go-to channel for high quality videos as, even if I've seen a lot of the fights before, if I want to watch the best definition available, I'll check it out on your channel. Nice one!
Thanks for the sub, man! You know, with the way Covid had/has/ and still is specifically affected/affecting the boxing world, plus my internet provider issues I've had over the last few months, plus both my mom and stepdad unexpectedly having some fairly serious medical ailments occur outta the blue (for example two days after the local hospital began enforcing covid protocols my stepfather's gal bladder decided to go damn near necrotic! But removing it was deemed elective surgery and hospitals weren't doing elective surgery, so he spent 5 months with a hole in his gut for a drainage bag) at pretty much the same time that everything/everyone/everywhere around my general vicinity began implementing all the various shutdown type protocols, equaled a serious curtailing of my doing much of anything internet related. I really shouldn't jinx it, but thing are finally looking as though they may be improving in all the areas I mentioned just previous. Also, I am glad to see that boxing also might be BEGINNING to inch towards the status quo of pre covid times. It had been nice to see the sport attempting to make it's comeback a few months ago, but as expected we were shown a lot of fights that wouldn't have made it to TV at all, or at best were of a "USA's Tuesday Night Fights" level of competitiveness. Jesus, I sound very spoiled there!. Anywho, I am hoping things continue on a positive uphill direction with the sport. Anyway, that is where I have been, lol! Once more, thanks for showing the appreciation and for the subscription. Hope that you'll find something to watch that you enjoy Mario
I have a random question of my own, do you have Kelley vs Ricardo Rivera? Been looking for that for ages.
No, I am sorry but I do not have this fight....yet, that is. I've personally never even watched it, but I am glad that you asked about it because I have at various times over the last couple years attempted to make a mental note to look it up and give it a watch but, even after what's now something like a 15+ yr marijuana sabbatical, my short term memory never really made an attempted comeback....sh-it...what did you ask me about again? Oooooh, oooh my lawd, that was some real lame a$s "dad joke" level of stupidity there. I'm really sorry for that as it may have hurt. Anywho, I am gonna do a search now and see what kinda quality I can find the fight in. I will get back to you whenever I get the whole fight situated and posted. Lastly, thanks for the sub! Much appreciated! Mario
Guys who upload fights to YT for free don't' get nearly enough credit. For full disclosure I have an extensive YT channel so I do partly mean myself But it's crazy where you see videos you've uploaded on the internet, being written about by on the internet, sometimes for pay, and nobody thinks to mention the YT channel where they saw the fight. Mario's is a good one anyway.
Hey, thanks! I always forget to look on FB for fights. In other news, way to pick a popular fight everyone has seen and can be found a dime a dozen everywhere online! Acting like Kevin Kelley vs Ricardo Rivera is something all obscure! OK, jokes aside, zero luck so far man. Apparently it was on at least one YT channel some time ago but, as happens to a lot of these channels more and more these days, YT axed it
I was aware of this, but it's different when it's on YouTube, cause then I can actually watch it on TV lol
If you don't mind me asking, what do you watch on? If it has Google/browser, you can watch it through the forum. I do that with my Xbox.
