What mysterious goings on do you think Hearn is going on about in interviews saying Benn was hung out to dry, where as he isn't a 'Grass' but there are fighters fighting on failed tests? Surely if you feel really hard done by in regards to Benn and the 'integrity' of the sport is at stake not to mention fighter safety you wouldn't be seen as a 'Grass' you would be seen as a hero for exposing this sort of thing? Unless he is referring to a certain Uncle Frank fighter that has just mysteriously pulled of from a fight with no Media attention or explanation (said fight is supposed to already have his next fight in place), and he doesn't want to depart the Saudi gravy train just yet. More so you would think that he would be shouting from the roof tops about that fighter after having his golden goose absolutely iced doing the ray gun break dance in the fight previous, or does he not want to say anything as regard that as his golden goose is said to have his own TUE for testosterone and doesn't want to start fielding these sorts of questions?
Think it was Dillian Whyte, that has well and truly been swept under the carpet along with the B sample from 2019. Hearn is right though, loads of people fail drug tests and get not even 1% of the coverage and scrutiny of the Benn failed test, Dennis Mcann hasn't been mentioned in weeks, Amir khan failing a test for the Brook fight, Dillian whyte and so on.
There were a lot of circumstances that meant the Benn failed PED tests were not brushed under the carpet as they have been with other fighters. -The fight the failed PED tests involved was a very big one. -The opponent (Chris Jr) was being boiled down to a skeleton. -This involved the Eubanks on the other end of it, and they have connections and also they don’t take BS and Chris Jr isn’t going to be quiet. -The cover up played out extremely poorly with the public because unlike most cover ups it had increased media scrutiny.
The first one was brushed under the carpet though and Benn was allowed to carry on, They didn't tell anybody. It wasn't until a few weeks after the 2nd failed that it came to light. Benn can hardly claim to be hung out to dry or hard done by
Comparing McCann & Benn isn't the same. McCann was pulled from the card immediately and hasn't been running in front of every camera. Frank unlike Eddie has just said "test the B sample, if its a fail as well then he has explaining" They created the Benn situation
Yes, Hearn seems to be under a lot of pressure. It's quite funny to study how easily he gets angry in front of the camera these days. Something that was unthinkable a few years ago.
Given his sidekick is married into the Eubank family it's hard to believe any of this is genuine, other than the wide hatred for Benn. I wonder if the demand for tickets is quite what they expected? My mate has a Spurs season ticket and early access, and you can still take your pick just now.
