    That is just wrong dude.
I agree with some of the points about the improvement in any sports but boxing is unique.
Who is to say that Willy Pep would not clown say a Frampton or Sandy Saddler would not knock out Gary Russell Jr?

Well, most of his team mates are users, so who is to say he might not be one as well.

Comparing sports where performance can be objectively measured with boxing which cannot, is VERY flawed methodology....

But also, if Owens benefited from modern training techniques, biometrics, computer analysis of technique, diets, nutrition, modern faster tracks and - yes - PEDs, would the performance gap be so great?

Sprinting wasn't even a full-time professional sport in the 1930s.
When Jesse Owens wanted to turn professional he had to go and race a horse !

In addition, if you want to use sprinting as a benchmark to establish the likelihood boxing has also evolved exponentially since the 1930s, you need to compare Owens to a current sprinter of similar weight and height to nullify the fact that boxing has weight divisions whereas sprinting does not. Good luck with that....

If athletes are better now why is the bent press world record held by Arthur Saxon who was born in 1878?

Pavel Tsatsouline is famous for bringing old 18th century training methods to the mainstream.

Some Previous Era boxers undoubtedly beat some Current Era boxers.

They used to have boxing schools in America, boxers got to dedicate themselves to their craft better in a lot of cases.

These new boxers are Part Time boxers when compared to previous eras

    Here are some clear examples:

    Ray Robinson TKO/KO Danny Garcia
(Look at the Herrera fight it's obvious)

    Ali Defeat Wilder
(A substitute teacher can hurt DW but Ali can't?)

I suggest that you take your own advice and go and study the available footage of Ray.

If you seriously think that he had sloppy skills, then I actually feel bad for you and there is no point in us continuing with the debate.

You are an ignorant joker who has no comprehension of a fighter's skill set.

He doesn't watch old film. A lot of guys around here only watch live fights and don't know about the fighters in the past.

Prior to 2008, when Bolt ran 9.69 to break the world record, he hadn't broken 10secs... Anyway this ain't an athletics forum so I'll STFU now....
