How have you got the nerve to write this after some of the things that you’ve written?

Or he could avoid the question altogether.

But no, you can go through each year of the Ring and see that the no. 3 guy doesn’t suck (or no. 2 minus Floyd). Guys who suck don’t destroy Margarito and take Cotto to the wire.

Go find a single thing that I wrote in the original post that’s incorrect.

Perhaps you’re some sort of authority among people who have never worn hand wraps and therefore know more than the official records.

    Another silly post.

Again, you can’t differentiate between the different versions of Canelo and the styles of the other fighters.

How many more times do you need telling?

Canelo STOOD OFF OF FLOYD and wouldn’t press him.

    Go and watch the fight.

Canelo was NOT a GREAT fighter back THEN.

He barely beat Lara and Trout who also aren’t great fighters.

What the hell does Marvin Hagler have to do with anything??

Hagler jumped on Hearns from the opening bell.

He chased him down and had a war.

He stalked him and pressured him and tried to take him out ASAP.

Now on what planet would the version of Canelo who fought Floyd have done that??

He didn’t pressure Floyd, yet you think he’d have jumped on Hearns?

The version of Canelo that Floyd fought, fought NOTHING like Roldon, Barkley or Hagler.

    Have a day off.

So Shane wasn’t badly faded because of his ranking??

Manny wasn’t faded and injured when he fought Floyd due to his ranking??

I don’t need a ranking to tell me where a fighter is in his career.

Shane didn’t even resemble the versions who’d fought the likes of Oscar.

    He was faded.

Did you not see the Mora fight etc?

I don’t care about the numbers.

It’s you who’s fixated on the data.

The data is good. But it doesn’t give you the whole picture.

Statistics don’t allow for context or circumstances.

These three are on such a level you could make a good case for them being the GOAT. As great as resumes get.

I do agree that Floyd's wins are downplayed way too much. Mosley came off a very good performance and Canelo wasn't great back then, but schooling the best 154 punder when you're 36 and npt more than at most a 140 pounder my modern standards is very impressive.

The only thing with that win is if one thinks the catch weight had a big effect on Canelo.

The Pac win is also quality, but the IV business is really bothersome. Acting differently is also biased of course.

I think this has been a pretty bad thread for both sides. One not being able to give Floyd credit for anything and the other not giving Duran enough credit and not being able to admit how bad it was with the IV.

So because Floyd did so well it wasn't a good win? If it had been close it had been a good win?

    He’s not saying that.

George is saying that the Canelo who Floyd fought stood off of Floyd and showed him far too much respect. Therefore, that same version of Canelo would have gotten hurt against a prime version of Hearns.

No Neck is trying to claim that Canelo would have walked down Hearns and stopped him.

Yet the versions of Canelo we saw at JMW got outclassed by Floyd and barely beat Erislandy Lara and Austin Trout.

Basically, No Neck is back in his LSD induced fantasy world.

He was probably talking about Shane Mosley, which is an equally stupid point when we've all watched Hearns spray the audience with Jheri curl juice.
