Hope and Duran. That's all had before an inexperienced champion drilled him in the first round and ended his hopes of being a top fighter.

Lara has three loses. One was a robbery and the other two could've gone in his favor. You probably don't even follow boxing enough to know who Lara is.

Seems like most of your posts are satire.

And yet, better than all but one of Lara's wins.

You can't name a single guy who "Santana" beat, nor can I.

People tend to overlook Mayweather's determination and heart. As if he never faced adversity. Their dead wrong. When Jose Luis Castillo roughed $ up and beat him ( administering an infighting lesson in the process) did Mayweather take his gift decision and let it go at that? No he wanted to avenge that defeat.
He fought Castillo anyway, sort of. He used his legs more than ever and got the W. That what legends do.

You're selling his record a bit short. Chiaverini was a ring rated top #5 junior middleweight when Benitez whooped him and Ranzany was still a highly rated Welterweight when he cruised past him at 154.

Duran one of my fay-voh-ritts but in 20 years' time the "Classic" forum will laugh at the time when people mostly thought Duran had a much better resume than $ and Pooch.

If you want to base your argument over a typo, feel free.

The reality is that you lost all credibility the moment you said Benitez was on the same level as Lara H2H.

    I’m not bothered about probability.

I told you why Floyd finished at 50-0.

    He was great.

Give me your honest predictions please.

    Floyd vs:

    De Jesús

    Leonard

    Hearns

    Benitez

    Hagler

    Laing

Lara beat Williams and Trout, drew with Castano while old, lost in a unification to Hurd by about a point (I thought he won), lost to Canelo by about a round, and won 8 title fights at 154 over two reigns.

If you quit your hero worship, you'll understand that it's not an insult to Benitez to class him next to Lara at 154.

Stop trying to cover like that was a typo.

Even if we extend Lara credit for fights he lost, he still has nothing that compares to whitewashing Duran. And if you reread, I didn't actually say comparing Lara's work at 154 was disrespectful. I said saying Benitez and Lara are on the same level head-to-head was, and frankly, embarrassing. Benitez was several magnitudes better than Lara, and it's obvious. If you come off your whole recency bias schtick for a few minutes and watched even just a highlight reel, you'd see that. Btw, if you think what I'm saying about Benitez is hero worship, you should reread what you've posted about Mayweather in this thread.

Benitez at 154 was better than an 36 year old Mayweather pal, use a bit of common sense.

Of course it was a typo. Stop trying to cover like you even know who he is.
