Chang was a damn beast before he lost dedication and hit the bars. I love the way he came forward so well offensively but combined it with a fluid defence in terms of head movement. He could punch all night. Very difficult to call this one, I'd lean towards Chang because of his versatility and strength on the inside, I find it difficult to imagine Lopez being comfortable inside with Chang.

Bottom line. Chang will impose himself as he always does, leaving Lopez no time to work his lovely combination's from mid-range. Finito was similiar to Barrera or Marquez, if you let them work at their own pace, they will eat you up. If you take them out of their comfort zone however, you have a good chance at getting the victory. Chang was more than capable of imposing himself on Ricardo, and would outpoint him to a UD in my judgment. Chang faced better competition, and had the style to upset a textbook stylist like Lopez.

jung koo chang is a beast in his own right judging from the vids, hes already past his prime when he was defeated by humberto gonzales, but he was awesome in his prime. i believe finito takes it by ud, but you cannot count chang out

I just watched the chang vs ursua and chang,Zapata fight to refresh my memory on Chang and my opinion hasnt. Lopez would tee off on chang severly! Dont get me wrong Chang was one of the best little men ever and hed swarm Lopez and make it hard for him on the inside but i see Lopez (who was a very sharp puncher)making Chang pay for his recklesness. Seems like there is some little klan on this forum that thinks Chang could do no wrong. Well Lopez would dissect the things he does wrong. Chang could only swarm Lopez for so long before feeling the effects.
Some of you seem to forget that Lopez was also an excellent puncher not just a technichal boxer. Chang had a great chin so he might last the distance, Chang would do well early and Lopez would take most of the mid and late rounds, but I wouldnt be surprise to see Lopez stop Chang late either. Lopez title fight record 25-0-1-20 KOS thats TWENTY KNOCKOUTS so dont believe that Chang could have swarmed him the whole fight without paying a price by the end.
