His youth was still there but his Mental focus, lack of boxing skills that he had, and conditioning wasn't there.
That he liked to stare guys down during the pre-fight instructions. He did that maybe 3 times in his whole career, most notably the McNeeley fight. He rarely ever got into that. Usually he barely even looked at his opponent.
Come to think of it, you might be right there. It's been a while since I saw a Tyson fight, but if memory serves, he always stared at their chest didn't he?:huh
I think mike did that a lot in his later career when he knew he was faded to try and gain a mental edge cause of his power. If you can mentally break an opponent, you've already won the fight.
The Douglas fight was my favorite all time Tyson fight:good a 42-1 dog who's mom just passed away KO'S the undisputed champ of the World that was awesome!!:happy
