What do you make of this guy Russell? Only I loss to Hiroki Ioka...which he then reversed in a rematch.
Certainly one of the best of all time at the weight, but you can of course argue that he's a very big fish in a very small pond. BUT the relative depth of his chosen division isn't the fighters responsibility, it just is what it is. The same thing applies to the likes of Ricardo Lopez.
Myung had a high boxing IQ and was adaptive and versatile. Wasn't a ko artist but he if he fought fellow countryman Jung Koo Chang he would have won on pts as Jung was more one dimensional.
The Hawk was the ultimate pressure fighter and if he had a bigger punch he would have prevailed. However Myung superior stamina and skills means he wins a close dec.
