N.Richardson said he wanted to punch Margarito's trainer in the mouth!!......

Truth be told, I'd have less objection to that ONCE the results of the investigation in the Mosley fight are in. People here are acting as if an ACCUSATION - which is exactly what the reports from the trainer and others in the Mosley camp and the seizure of the hand-wraps for analysis constitute - is PROOF of GUILT. It is NOT, at least not in the UNITED STATES.

But even if the results show Margarito did have something illegal in his gloves in the Mosley fight, people are on VERY flimsy ground to suggest it occured in any of his Nevada fights, including Cotto, where apparently the commission provides the gauze and supervision is much more rigorous.

Now, if people suggest this COULD have happened with regard to fights he had in MEXICO, or in states with lax or non-existant commissions - there they have greater grounds for SUSPICION. But even there, no real proof.

 

I do not doubt one thing that Nazim Richardson is saying. Do you people honestly think he is making this up about the "plaster blocks" in Margarito's wrap?

Anyone who thinks there is not some serious smoke here is DELUSIONAL.

Something was seized by the commission.

There will be no way to find out if he did it in the past unless someone in Margarito's camp cracks and admits to it.

Either way, what he attempted to do in the Mosley fight was bad enough.

Margarito and his trainer should be banned from Boxing for life.

 

Anyone who knows the ins and outs of boxing knows that Nevada is much more stringent with its standards. California holds more fights than any other state right now... and it's not because they are more strict. So, I think it's a ridiculous assumption at this point.

Margarito is from California, born and raised. He ain't from Mexico. He probably has a lot of folks in the Cali Commission that can look out for him as opposed to Nevada.

And no, I am not a Margo fan.

All I was saying is that Jose Torres is a credible person when it comes to Mike Tyson and the original Team Tyson.

I wasn't saying Torres was not credible, I was trying to get damienn to say what "new info Torres" revealed about the situation that wasn't out there already.

 

Like Nasim said we are talking about 16 year old Mike Tyson, not 21+ Mike Tyson, so lets stay in the same time frame first of all.

Second, how does bringing up what he did as an adult justify pulling a gun on him when he was a kid? It doesn't which means you don't have a ****ing argument.
