In his prime, he could out-slug him on the outside with his reach, height, speed, and mobility. Now, he'll land a few big right hand set-ups, fade, and constantly eat left hands as he gets turned and turned all night.

Excellent query Naazim. How did that lack of height and range work out vs Clottey and Margarito ? Height and range are relative to how you use the ring and your skills.
Manny is able to use his speed and angles and lighting fast in and out footwork to not only find his range but achieve near perfect distance and accuracy.

Sounds like Team Mosley will use the "fight tall" strategy.

If there is one thing I would say about Mosley, he is not good at clinching and pushing off. That is NOT his thing. He's too impatient for that kind of generalship.. he won't clinch and grab, and keep it up for most of the fight, and win a decision that way.

And yes, divac, Mosley will have trouble with Pacquiao's handspeed.

Shane is a washed up overhand right. That's all.

He's gonna swing that old rusted war hammer for four rounds as often and as hard as he can. If he hits pay dirt, so be it, if not, he's gonna get potholes bludgeoned into his cranium en route to an ugly, ugly TKO loss.

Thats a terrible fight plan that reeks of desperation & inferiority... if Pac can hang in there & odds are strong he will then Mosely will have just handed the fight to the fresher, younger fighter & Pac will coast the rest of the fight to a wide UD vs a gassed Mosely or even a late TKO stoppage depending on how gassed Shane is.

He must be patient, let Pac come to him, use feints & a fast jab to draw Pac in & try counter him with that overhand right, anytime Pac gets mid-range Mosely must clinch fast, get Pac as close as possible & work the body & rough Pac up using his physical strength similar to what he did vs Margarito.
