Nothing to do with wanting to, Shane couldn't throw as he was getting countered every time he tried. Nothing to do but ride out the storm and wait for an opportunity that never came. If he had thrown more he would have been hit more and likely put down and out.
Look, I know you're a huge Floyd fan but I'm not taking anything away from Floyd. He took away Shane's confidence that night but that's what I'm saying. In the end Shane just wanted to survive. Nazim told him to stop looking for the perfect shot and just throw but Shane didn't want to. Would he have taken more punishment if he let his hands go more? Yes but that was his only chance (a very slim chance but Floyd is human, not God despite what you believe, and mistakes can happen) but Shane chose not to take that risk. Nazim even made him repeat a sentence near the end. What else could Richardson do? Now some people are dissing him just cuz Shane got dominated by Floyd. Richardson can only work with what he's got, and if his fighter's got no confidence there's nothing he can do.
so much for liking 'shane and floyd equally', oooh i cant decide who to pick for the fight they're both my favorites' its obvious you never liked mosley now.
@ Relentless. What's with the S.R. Khan avatar? I know you lost a bet for that Naked Haye pic but you lose another one? That's just cruel man, whoever made you have that avatar is evil
I meant "better" puncher/more "formidable" puncher, I should have hit edit and changed it, so you can pull your knickers back up now and calm the **** down.:|
I need to calm down? You're the one who's getting all hot and bothered over something Nazim said without even reading the quote. He never even said better puncher than Floyd so either way you're jumping to conclusions.
It's a matter of opinion, and even if it was true, it dosen't matter because Kahn is still not the better fighter. Shan was also considered a better puncher, and we seen the results to that.
Naz wasn't directly comparing Floyd's power to Khan's and making it out to be inferior. He was simply rejecting the notion that Floyd would have stopped Shane. The Khan reference was a way of saying, Shane wasn't a Malignaggi in there recieving punishment from Khan. In other words, Shane's a level above Malignaggi in skill and toughness, and isn't the type of fighter to be stopped the way Malignaggi was that night; therefore there was no reason to throw in the towel against Floyd
Some of the posters on here are so sensitive. It's just a quote taken slightly out of context. You're like a bunch of women.
As good as Nazin is, who the fakk cares. Floyd would outclass Khan and most likely KO the guy if they would even fight.
How about as intelligent as floyd? How bout as Accurate as Floyd? How bout as strong as Floyd? Pac will get outclassed. He can win court wars but not in the ring
