He wasn't saying Khan hits harder at all. That type of quote could have been about featherweights or whatever, and still been appropriate. Khan at 140 possibly is a more formidable puncher, though one thing is for sure - Malignaggi was getting hurt, Mosley wasn't.
Yes, because Floyd is the most likable guy today in boxing, so everyone who fights him feels they should just let him win.
he was saying mosley was never hurt. not that he let mayweather win. it didn't seem to me that shane was ever hurt by mayweather.
That was one of the worst and most debilitating pieces or corner technique I've ever witnessed in my life. To make a grown-a$$ proud and decorated fighter repeat words on national television...and then tell him that if he can repeat it, he's not that tired (basically saying - stop being a bltch) is utterly retarted. Mosley was already a broken man at that point, but Naz smashed him to smithereens.
Naz just says some crazy stuff. I never bought into the hype. Too much fairy tale stuff. But it's funny how some of the diehard Floyd fans were really hyping him up to make Mosley seem like a more difficult fight than it really would be, and as soon as he says some stuff like this, uh oh, guy's full of ****.
I don't see why him making comments you don't agree with should make you cast any doubt on his ability as a trainer.:huh I think Roach talks **** with some of his comments but it doesn't make me think any less of his ability to get the best out of his fighters.
The reason most people hype this guy up big time is after he makes some fairy tale comments, they all take it as gospel and think wow this guy is something else. It's not his ability as a trainer. I never said he didn't have it or anything like that. But he's definitely overhyped because of some of those comments.
I wouldnt call floyd a puncher at 147, he hits hard enough to knock you off your rythm and to make you think before coming in, but def not a power puncer
