Could be b/c he knew what was going to happen afterwards. That could have been putting a lot of pressure on his mind during the fight knowing that he had been caught (if this is true). And didnt want to look like an ass by saying he lost b/c of weight troubles knowing that he would be exposed.

 

atsch So you're getting mad at a trainer for looking out for his fighter? Since you brought up the Tito situtation...Why did the commission have him rewrap his hands agian...Its against the rules to OVERTAPE your knuckles...That what you call not playing by the rules...You're a dense mother****er if you seriously have a problem with Nazim looking out for his fighter's safety...Boxing is already a dangerous sport, for you to sit here and ***** and moan like Nazim is doing something is just flat out wrong!

Exactly and according to the Mosley interview on FNF's Nazim noticed something in the wraps that seemed hard, Nazim took the wrap from Margarito, brought it into the dressing room of Shane, had Mosleys Dr look at it, and they all said it was a greyish substance that was hardening.

Okay so today that substance is red, and let me see, How the hell could Nazim be trusted here, when he took the evidence from Margarito, brought it to Mosleys dressing room, had Mosleys personal Dr look at it, then turn it over to the commission?

For all we know, he could have took the wraps from Margarito, went into shanes dressing room, put something else with the wraps and made this claim, they should have never taken the wrap from Margaritos dressing room.

I really get the feeling this was all just one big mind game regarding the wraps that got way out of control.

 

I didn't see this quote before...but if he did say this then his statements are very similar and support each other. I hope Marg isn't found putting "plaster" in his wraps or his camp doing this. Just not a good look for boxing plus I like Tony. He's a true warrior. But if he did the same thing as Tito then he's been wrapping his hands wrong and in a way that is considered illegal. But he shouldn't be permanantly banned since Tito wasn't.

 

Lets wait for the final result before firing off the tired,overused cliches shall we.

 

Then there would be some sort of cuts on the Knuckles of Margarito which was not the case had that been the case we would have heard about that to.

 

Yeah, I read Richardson's interview. To me it sounds implausible, but if what he says is proven correct, Margarito's career is in big trouble. If it is proven to be incorrect Richardson can expect a huge lawsuit. The truth will come out shortly, until then I will continue to believe that the allegations are false.

 

Mental games that is all this is.....But its kind of **** up because Nazzim's sorry ass doesnt take into account that the boxer's image and career is tarnished forever after that. I truly believe that it was nothing more than a mental stragedy on Shane's camp. When you are about to go into the ring for a "major" fight like this was, the last thing you want is drama 30 minutes before. It takes you out of your game plan and I dont give a **** who you are. The look on Margarito's face when he was walking towards the ring on that night was the same look Tito had back on 9/29/2001 when was walking to the ring to face Hopkins.

Because none of those guys are known as big punchers or even KO artists. I mean c'mon when was the last time Winky hurt anyone? What the **** was Nazzim going to argue with Winky that he had feathers in his gloves????Tarver GTFO, that was a lucky punch with RJJ and even I could KO RJJ because he had never been tested in the chin when he was hit with an opened glove. Pavlik I agree he is a big puncher but Hopkins' camp went at him in a different way, they went with the fear factor and it worked.

 

Umm wasnt that in the fight with Mosley:roll: Anyhow to me from the conflicting stories that seem to keep comming from Mosleys team, its obvious this was all just a mental game at Staples that got out of hand, way out of hand, I mean the substance went from Grey to red for god sakes, the stories just keep changing.

BTW, How the **** would they know it was hardening, its not like they were testing it as time went on, they grabbed the wrap/pad and left the room and took it to Mosleys Dr.

I am okay with the rumors or claims of Margarito being a cheater, if he is one, then time will tell, if he isnt, alot of people throwing this out there is in for a rude hateful awakening, I also think they might have put enough stink on this issue, to blind out a potential punishment handed out to Mosley after he admitted to steroid use, in other words this could be a smoke screen to keep Mosley from being fined and suspended by the commissions.

 

I think you're missing the point....If he wanted to cause a scene as most of you guys are saying...why in the hell did he just target these two fighters out of the blue? (Tito and Margorito) I brought those names up because he trained Hopkins during those fights...Light puncher or not....He is looking out for his fighter...Again I ask...If he is just trying to cause a scene as the other guy is trying to make it out to be...Why didnt he cause an uproar with these other fighter...I tell you why...They played by the rules...They found something with Tito and Margorito...Call it what you want homie, but the fact still remain...They had wrapped their hands Illegally...Those are facts! If he is shooting the **** as you're trying to imply, Why is the commision stepping in and doing an investigation.

I understand that these type of allegation can ruin a fighters career but can you understand Margorito could have ****ed Shane up if the allegations are true..Come on man, you get off the bull**** and open you eyes and look at the bigger picture!

 

I see your point and understand clearly about the safety of the boxer as you stated but I still think is part mind game. Anyways we will just have to wait until the investigation is completed and see what happens cool? :good

 

I agree...You know you just hate to hear bull**** like that..Its giving the sport we all love a kick to the nuts! I cant pass judgement until I get the full detail of the scenerio! Hopefully its all just a big misunderstanding...I guess we'll have to wait and see.
