This kid has a good future. He moves well, has a good punch selection, throws short, crisp shots and has some pop in his punch. He kind of reminds me of a lightweight Keith Thurman. That was a picture perfect uppercut he landed on Perez and it had a lot of power that Perez couldn't recover from. I'm looking forward to seeing his next fight and follow him as his career progresses.
Didn't like him hitting the deck once but he does have incredibly fast hands and enough power to put people away. Showed some tremendous counter punching today as well, have to see how he looks moving up the talent pool
He got caught pretty good, but to his credit, he didn't appear to be hurt badly, got up and did well for the rest of the round. Perez narrowly escaped a DQ by hitting him when he was down. Perez's height did seem to bother him a bit, but Naazim told him to stand his ground and he listened well and put Perez away. A few more fights and I think he can be a presence in the LW division.
