Mayweather didn't actually always fight like that though...

Well for sure the only guy throwing hard punches was Pacquiao. Floyd was throwing slap-shots all night and running around and hugging. It wasn't an embarrassing performance, but lackluster considering all the hype and trash-talk. Floyd won a point contest, but he didn't beat pacquiao up or beat him in a fight. Pacquiao was the one landing the hurtful punches, the hard shots. He had Floyd doing a dance twice, and had him stunned a couple other times. Prime Pacquiao would have whooped Floyd, there's no doubt about it. Whenever Pacquiao turned it up on Floyd, he was whooping him. Pac in his prime went at a higher pace, and he did it throughout the fight. Floyd's a clever guy in picking his opponents at the right time and he knew Pacquiao wasn't the same, that's all there is to it.

Why do people keep bringing up the "Manny was the only one to throw punches arguement"?
I thought it had been pretty much conclusively answered that Floyd in fact did throw and land more punches.

It's old news anyway. Manny was outboxed and lost. It was time to move on a ages ago.

Spot on, Vegas commodity Floyd was never going to lose no matter what.
The prime Pacquaio would have been relentless and as you pointed out everytime Floyd engaged he was uneasy or hurt, a relentless punching machine of 2009 Pacquaio would have really enjoyed fighting Floyd and won quite easily.
Mayweather rather exposed himself against Pacquaio, he couldn't walk him down like he promised he would, he couldn't hurt Pacquaio let alone KO him like he claimed, he couldn't match Pacquaios speed and he was even countered by Pacquaio a lot which just forced him to run while pawing out to get the hometown cooking.

I agree with Beristain, Void owned the judges, boxing commission, referee.....................Kovalev should beat SOB, but SOB will own the judges, referee, boxing commission, etc., still, Kovalev knows he has to take it out of the hands of the criminal judges.........................

That era is over. Is reverting back to the way boxing was before Mayweather was the face of boxing.

It all boils down to how much FloyDuck paid off the Nevada judges to get the win.

To these suckers he was born popular and infinitely rich, paid off judges, commissions, refs, spies, promoters , USADA, for 49 fights. He never threw a punch ever, he hugged for 20 years and people kept paying to see him. He must be a hypnotist.
