Man, did anyone checkout the next vid playing after the Beristein vid? Duran sayin he don't blame Floyd, but back then, there were better boxers and less money, while today, more money and less great boxers. He's right about that one.

Floyd Mayweather has possibly killed boxing with this performance. ratings have generally sucked on every network for every fight after this - 5m people paid $100 to see this ***** run around scared. It'll be a LONG time before casuals every lay down their money for a big fight again.

Mayweather fought this same way in the maidana fight before this and the berto fight after this.

He did so much damage to this sport. I wish he had actually taken a real fight just once in his career.

 

I was expecting a fight of the century. What i saw was a grand rapid style of street fight where on guy ran and hugged all night. Disappointing!

 

Hugging is accepted in boxing. I have no idea why. Where's the logic in allowing holding? It makes for dull fights. I'm ok with running because it would be hard for refs to draw a line between running and moving, but hugging? It should be heavily penalized. Most runners are huggers.
