Unlike JMM, Nacho has no vested interest in Pac, and is therefore a neutral party.

Nachos full of ****. He says Pacquiao is too good and will beat Floyd; then when asked who can beat Pacquiao right now, his answer was Marquez??? When Floyd destroyed Marquez?

I know I know, you will say styles make fights. Well then I offer this - Marquez did so well against Pac because of his timing and countering. Floyd is one of the best at timing and countering, so you can take it for what its worth.

Cool..:D Someone had already beaten DLH in his prime...actually a few people. Fighters at 147 like Callozo beat Hatton only to be jobbed in a decision...which is the weight class Floyd took 10 rounds to get Ricky out. And Shane got dominated by BOTH but RAN from Manny for 12 rounds wanting to quit in the 10th.

I mean....what's the point in going "tit for tat" when Floyd's never gonna come out looking better than Manny when we do these kinds of comparisons. Let's chalk it up to two great fighters with VASTLY different styles that create different outcomes in their fights with common opponents.

Or....we can talk about "catch weights" and how PAC has had one more than Floyd and has also faced MORE top Welters than Floyd who's been campaining at that weight TWICE as long as Manny. Floyd has been labled a "DUCK" long before PAC with guys like Cotto and Marg that Floyd seemed to avoid, yet PAC took on and dominated.

And the whole DLH comment about not getting KO'd so he "HAD TO QUIT"?? Dude.....you smell of "STRUGGLE".. You are trying way to hard which is understandable considering your agenda...but don't make it so transparent. It was 8 rounds that DLH took this beating and there were 12 rounds in that fight...which means had it went longer than 8 rds...the KO was coming...not to mention PAC obviously felt bad for Oscar and almost begged the ref to offer DLH some mercy.

I can't remember if Floyd ever had DLH in any trouble?:think

As a trainer, you have to talk up your own prizefighter. You won't find Nacho echoing ESB's sentiments. If he did, why would JMM allow someone who doesn't believe in him?

I understand but he has to feel a little foolish in an interview to talk Pac up so high and pick him to beat Mayweather; then in the same interview to say Marquez is the only one who can beat him right now.

He would be better off keeping his mouth shut until after Pacquiao/Marquez III.

Morales had beaten Pacquiao because Erik exploited Manny's technical flaws.
Today, Pacquiao has somehow diminished his weaknesses: he no longer throws off-balanced shots, his defense has improved, he can endure vicious body shots, he has legitimate power with both hands, ...

Athletically speaking, Pacquiao is a league above everyone else (including Mayweather). Can you name an active boxer with these following attributes?
-Speed (one of fastest combination fighter out there)
-Power (can KO with both hands)
-Stamina (can throw 100 puches per round without gassing-out)
    -Granite chin
    -Good footwork

Pacquiao is a freak of nature. He has the wrists of a heavy-weight with a relatively long reach for his size.

Pacquiao's and Mayweather's next fights will show if:
-Pacquiao can deny Marquez's technical superiority in a convincing way,
-Mayweather can endure pressure from a very physical Ortiz.

I've been saying this forever. Floyd and Marquez are different fighters and Marquez had to open up and risk being clocked (he got clocked alot but it paid off) in order to get his counters off. For Floyd to be able to deal with Pac's akwardness while getting off counters, he's going to have to take some risks and those risks can have consequences. Floyd isn't that type of fighter and one thing I notice about Floyd, he doesn't take alot of shots where he thinks there could be consequences. Don't be suprised if he goes fully defensive similar to Clottey and Shane.

Again, Marquez had to be willing to open himself up and eat leather in order to pull it off. Morales also. Floyd isn't that type of fighter.

I can't believe people on this thread underestimating Floyd's abilities. I actually think against Pac he will be quite agressive and do some good work on the inside, as with Hatton which at the time surprised a few people. Floyd, like any great sportsman has a plan a, b, c and d. He can fight defensive, offensive, at distance, in the pocket, and at range. Nacho his opinion, and I'm sure he can back that up with a bet if the fight is made, but his word isn't gospel - no opinion is!

Okay - so lets assume Floyd starts off cautiously, making Pacquiao miss; but not taking the risk necessary to get his counters off.

At that point it will depend on how Pac handles that frustration. In the past, Floyds defense has taken fighters out of the game plan, and the frustration causes them to mentally give up (Judah, Mosley). The way Pacquiao handles that frustration will determine what direction the fight takes. My prediction is that Floyd pulls off a decision.

As a Pac fan I can't argue against this, its true, but it don't mean **** at this point, considering that both these mother****ers will be past prime when they fight, if they fight, as far as I am concerned the imaginary bout won't mean ****:deal
