"We want to gain a little more speed. In the third fight we were able to keep up with him, and we want to use that approach again to see if we can put him down on the canvas at least once," said Beristain.

"I would like to believe, and hope to God, that we put him down once or twice - but it is a bit difficult because the Filipino is also a warrior and a very tough fighter. Last time we thought we had the fight in the bag, but look at what happened...you can never tell what the judges are thinking."

For someone who has technically flawed footwork and can be off balance, emmanuel doesn't fall on his AZZ too often. You would think between the two that Juan is the one who is flash knockdown proof.

An athlete's coordination and strong legs make all the difference here

Don't see it happening. Pac is often popped back from his own momentum having already planted his feet; he does get shaky when caught on the move, like against Cotto and the 2nd round of the 2nd Marquez fight, but his chin is solid. Opposite-stanced fighters usually get knocked down from the side when their feet are stuck and their tilting to slip a shot (Pac on Cotto, Ward on Dawson), and Pac is very reactive on his feet so he avoids those situations altogether, for the most part; he hasn't been pushed back like that since Morales. It's feasible he comes in at the wrong angle and runs into a counter that tips him over, but his low center of gravity probably prevents that from happening too.

    You mean prone?

I'll like to see Marquez put him down as well. It will be a good scrap.

Marquez will outbox pac and very likely make him look silly some rounds but no chance anyones cracking pacs iron jaw... I cant believe people are even considering it...

Wow, How long ago was this fight? Once Pacquiao hooked up with Roach the history started there.
Not Bad for Fighter of the Decade. :hi:

JMM will not go for a KO he's very cautious of PAC's power....the only way he wins is by outboxing PAC.

Even Beristain is not convinced that JMM can do it that's why they are sticking to the same gameplan.
