why did he look shot against Forbes then?

I'm pretty much convinced that anyone who saw that fight and doesn't think ODLH is shot has never seen a young Oscar fight. That or you're just mind-numbingly oblivious. There is no other explanation.

he may have not shrunk a few inches but the weight loss surely killed his body , this based soley on the fact that he was only able to gain 2 pound after the weigh in , a sure sign that his body cannibalized itself during training .

So, by your method of calculating size, Joe Calzaghe would be a bigger man than Mike Tyson.

Bernard Hopkins would be a lot bigger than Mike.

And Kelly Pavlik would have a ridiculous size advantage over Iron Mike.

    Kelly Pavlik: 6' 2.5" 75 " reach

    Bernard Hopkins: 6' 1" 75 " reach

    Joe Calzaghe: 5' 11" 73 " reach

    Mike Tyson: 5' 10" 71 " reach

Oh and Paul Williams is 6' 1" with an 82 inch reach.

He's bigger than Tyson too !

His problem was his reflexes, we could see it in the Forbes fight- he gets hit to much nowadays... I dont know why he looks so old in the ring he didnt took any nasty beatings in his career.

Inactivity... and a career based on speed, reflexes, explosive combinations, and great footwork. So, not only are those the first things to go on a fighter... but being inactive, and not keeping himself sharp only furthers the problem. In addition to that, for years he was allowing his body to blow up in between fights, and bringing yourself back down in weight at an older age takes a much harder toll on your body than when you are younger.

because he won't face anyone who doesn't have huge question marks and many many wars behind them, as well as advancing age.

I repeat: If you saw that fight and you didn't notice Oscar was shot, then you have NEVER seen a young ODLH fight PERIOD.

whether it was the weight, or his nutrition , or whatever- it still comes down to Pac was better. If it was weight- then Pac managed his weight better, if it was because of nutrition- well then Pac ate better didnt he? All of that periperhal stuff aint no excuse- Theyre all part of the game. Thats why they pay those guys big bucks- theyre a team- one guy fights- but its everybodies resposibility- like a formula one team. if a guy loses - its the whole teams fault- and vice versa. Oscar has no excuses- no reasons- nobody and nothing to blame but himself. He has the money to pay for the best in the business- and then some- who else can afford Nacho AND Angelo. to have an acupuncturist everyday? If he was ill prepared- or not his best- then that counts against him and for pac- just the same as a hook or a right cross in the ring to his face. All these things add up- and Pac did them all better.
