This match is doing my head in a little, my main concern for Nadjib is dropping down in weight, while it went well for Braehmer, he didn't have a history of being KTFO. Based on pure skill I'd say Nadjib has a slight advantage here due to his unorthodox style, the only time he's been legitimately outboxed was against Cleverly, which is no big deal. Mohoumadi being KO'd early by Callum Smith was flukish, he has a fairly solid chin, he came out over eager looking to blast Callum out of there and paid for it. Losing to Sjekloca and DeGale is nothing to be ashamed of, not sure Nadjib could beat either of them either. Its a pick 'em, and its got me kind of stumped.

Even there, however, wouldn't say Cleverly did actually outbox him, at least not in any way comprehensively. I had Nathan edging him out by a cunt-hair.

I think Mohammedi exists on a slightly higher plane of class than Mohoumadi, based on their showings in wins & losses relative to quality of competition - wouldn't call it a full level, but like a clear ¼- or ½-level, if that makes sense.

...that said, if anybody is getting kayoed here (probably late), it would be Djib, as I do think Hadi's power and chin are both a smidgen better.

I'd actually forgotten just what a scare this was for then-unbeaten Cleverly.

Maybe his toughest fight before his cherry got Krushed. (or maybe sandwiched tightly between Karo Murat as 3rd and Bellew 1 as the actual hardest)

Good points, thanks also to @IntentionalButt for the analysis.

I'm stumped too, no idea who takes this. My instinct was Nadjib but I've become a bit doubtful of both his recent form and his chin.

Yeah, at more or less even money you'd have to be a maniac to waste even a dime betting on this one.

After watching a bit of him, I think Hervé Lofidi might actually be in danger of getting upset by Dos Santos, a late replacement for "Slick" Nick Kisner of Maryland. Kisner is probably a better fighter but he's a feather-fist, and the Brazilian - while 40 years old, rusty, and coming on short notice - can still truly crack. I don't have much faith in Lofidi's chin, and he might not have the power to one-up Gaspar in a shootout. JCDS has only ever been stopped thrice in his career, and one time was most likely a paid dive (as have been all of Junlong Zhang's "fights", I suspect) - the other pair at the hands of Bellew & Kudryashov...

Try saying this match up when you've had a few.
