i'm not a jc hugger so this isnt about a jc fan wanting to see him un-retire and fight again....

but something tells me that he watched that fight last night and thought a few things...

    1) damn i would school carl
    2) damn this would be huge in the UK...beyond huge...maybe biggest fight they have seen in a long time.
    3) damn this would give me an opportunity to beat a champion in his prime who has been calling me out lately and been pretty outspoken about it
    4) damn carl is getting all the attention now...(cuz i'm sure the UK papers/news/media u name it is going nuts right now)

i'm thinking the same bro, can see JC taking this fight. the thing is if he does fight carl and sneaks a SD due to dubious judging decisions, and under performs, thats his cred down the shitter

2010 if it happens, I've said many times Joe fights a career finisher in Wales. Against who will mainly depend on if Froch remains unbeaten until spring next year.

no chance, maybe if the fight had been on TV in the uk then maybe but this win will go relatively unnoticed and it still doesnt make a fight between calzaghe and froch a huge one

it has to be huge to entice calzaghe out of retirement

Crazy that this fight, as significant as it was to British boxing, wasn't on TV there. I've been saying for weeks that if Carl beat Taylor decisively it would be very hard for Calzaghe to resist one last fight in Wales. I hope he does resist the temptation, as he's about the only fighter since Marciano to get out of the game at precisely the right time.

The only way I could see this happen is if Froch picks up another belt, say for example by some freak of nature he fought and beat Kessler...then maybe Calzaghe would consider fighting him, most likely at a catchweight.

i agree...i just cant see jc letting froch talk **** before the jt fight...ko jt (if you want to discuss how he won im sure you can find a thread) and then continue to talk **** and call him out and not do anything. haha the UK aint big enough for the two of 'em!!! seriously tho, lets be honest, jc has too big of an ego and image of himself to allow this to go on and if someone is going to stop froch, im sure jc would want it to be him

shitty thing is i think that palle has kessler for at least another fight...(anyone know if it is more???) and i cant see palle agreeing to a froch fight. palle needs to be shot. having said that i would also love to see kessler fight froch. hell id love to see kessler fight anyone w/ a pulse

yeah im sure that's on his mind...but w/ jc's output and froch's chin/willingness to just come forward, it would be a fun fight to watch

I just dont think JC wants to fight any more tbh.

He should just say to media "if Froch beats Kessler then Hopkins in the next 12 months then he might get my attention"

Froch loses to both of them. Case closed. Enjoy your retirement Calzaghe.

Mr Froch could have done with appearing on TV.

    No chance.

If Froch beats Kessler by the end of the year, there's a respectable chance it will happen. Until/unless he beats Kessler whilst remaining unbeaten, the chance of it happening is less than 5%, even if Froch beats Bute and Pavlik next.
