The ref was on the other side of the ring and he should have been closer.

The knee touched but it was so quick Lopez didn't see it.

 

Lopez has come this far, but he's gotta get 'this level' self belief.

I'm sure he could've had an earlier night, tonight.

 

I'll have one of my stateside lads break his legs...

 

So, any time I see Danyo's name, my little internal rolodex pops up with the mental dossier I keep on each fighter, with a note saying "got an egregious gift over Zhuravskiy a few bouts ago"... but, dog my cat, that shite was almost 8 years nigh and tonight was Danyo's eighteenth time lacing up since. I'm glad it's been fits & starts for him though, going 11-7 and never capitalizing on the momentum (though poor Zhuravskiy pretty much crashed out after that demoralizing loss, and has gone 0-8-1 since)
