Shane has slightly longer reach than Floyd, i expect him to use that to get his jab in, double and even sometimes triple it up early on. He is experienced enough to know not to bullrush Floyd, and i expect him to be prepared to take it slow early, feel it out a bit, just as Floyd will. Shane will take his share of the early rounds with precise punching and controlled agression.

I think they will have first meaningful exchanges in the 3rd, with Shane coming off better, forcing Floyd to the ropes and working the body, though taking some counters in the process, but shrugging them off.

As the fight progresses, i expect the rate at which Floyd lands his counters to increase, and from the 9th onwards, taking advantage of Mosley's poorer head movement and slower footspeed, and he will start to discourage Shane a bit.

Shane will continue to press, however, and will rally in the final 2 rounds, pressing Floyd, though not being as effective as he was earlier.

I predict a unanimous decision for Mayweather, but still a competitive fight at almost all times. 8 rounds to 4, 116-112 Mayweather.

Nazim Richardson has said it better to James Smith in one interview - Why does Shane Mosley have to run after Mayweather, why does he need to cutt the ring off, etc, etc?... If Floyd doesn't come to fight, does he win the rounds automatically by posing and circling around the ring? Shane has to be himself and do his thing... In my opinion it is enough to win. HBO is biased towards Mayweather, all those guys want a Pac-May fight, Kellerman, Lampley, Lederman will score rounds to Floyd even if he doesn't do nothing, Bert Sugar thinks Mosley has to do this and that against Mayweather to win so they already have a winner!

floyd is a very hard fighter to beat, that's why you got to do this, and do that to win, and even then we don't know how good floyd really is at the moment because he hasn't faced adversity for quite a few years now. i think mosley is floyd's toughest opponent, he's a bloody good boxer, but one thing i don't like about mosley is when he does come forward, he does come in straight lines, which is why the jab is so effective against him.

i'll be picking floyd by U/D. i hope mosley can really test him though.

Floyd should've stepped on the gas and pressed Shane. Pac has no chance in hell of even giving Floyd a real fight. Floyd is one of the very best who ever lived, and that is a fact...and it has been a fact for a long time... Who was going to pot shot and run lol...

How the fight goes: Both will attempt to jab. Floyd will stand his ground circling and staying center ring, and when he sees Shane commit to punch, he will counter, and move his body out of the way like he did against Chico Corrales and get back to center ring.

Shane will use his feints, and he will try to land anything he can, clinch and hit, and get Floyd mad so that they can trade-instructions by Hopkins. Shane may even try to box Floyd as he has probably watched how Dlh attacked Floyd. That won't work though as Floyd does not get tired.

Floyd is going to figure Shane out, and pot shot him until about round 7, and then Floyd will stand inside and trade with Shane who will have slowed up by then. Floyd won't turn off the heat,
