Floyd never fought an ATG or high tier HOF who is just short of being an ATG...at or near prime.
It's amazing, but it doesn't compare to many greats.

DLH comes close with 10, but I don't think so, especially not since the multiple ABC belts nowadays. Not counting the ring belt, think Floyd was 12 time champ, lineal in 4 of them.

Yeah Floyd and Ray Leonard probably get along great, two spoiled brats who had to have everything their way. Floyd just took the spoiled brat thing to another level.

Evander Holyfield won the WBC, WBA and IBF Cruiserweight belts. Then he won the IBF, WBA and WBC heavyweight titles. Then he lost to Bowe, and won the rematch, but Bowe had dropped the WBC belt before their return. So Evander only regained two of the three.

Then Evander beat Tyson for the WBA belt (Tyson dumped the WBC belt before fighting Evander) and Moorer for the IBF belt. And he beat Ruiz for the WBA belt.

    Which makes 11.

Had Bowe not dropped the WBC belt before rematching with him, or Tyson not dropped the WBC belt before fighting him, or had Evander been awarded the fight against Valuev (which most thought Evander won), he'd have 14.

If you want to count the WBF title he won against Botha, that makes 15. (But I wouldn't.)

As it stands, though, he has 11 in two divisions (cruiserweight and heavyweight) ... and probably should have 14.

I love how you make a thread about Mayweather and it always begins and ends with guys talking **** and not even discussing the topic

    He does?

Count off all the belts he won?

You're right about Holyfield. If the judges awarded Holyfield with a decision he rightfully deserved against Valuev, he'd be tied with Floyd as well.

I think he's already ahead of Mayweather. I don't see where Floyd won 12 titles.

I think you need a lesson on simple mathematics.

Mayweather won twelve world titles and the lineal championship in four different weight classes (twice at welterweight). He is the only boxer to hold lineal titles simultaneously in two divisions (welterweight and light middleweight).
