All true and probably why Froch didn't fight him. Froch retired at the right time though after knocking Groves out. Can't blame him for trying to get the Chavez fight either. Headlining a fight in Vegas was the last thing left that he wanted to accomplish.

 

Ray Robinson - Hearing how he hit his wife with combinations. Cowardly sh!t right there.

Ali - He went overboard on the Frazier insults.

Leonard - Getting coked up and beating his wife. Sh!t ain't cool man.

Tyson - Biting Holyfield. And blowing 400 mill focking dollars! Of course he had help...but still..

RJJ - Not retiring after he won a HW title. And later just getting clobbered by fighters he'd murder in his prime. PLEASE STOP RJJ...FOR THE LOVE OF GAWD!

Floyd - The alleged domestic battery is just not cool man. Not finishing his career 50-0. 49 just seems incomplete at this point.

Hopkins - Saying he would never lose to white boy and then goes out and loses to a white boy...and worse gets humped by a white boy. Lol. Some sh!t you just need to keep to yourself, even if it's to sell the fight.

Mosley - Hearing about the BALCO thing. Not knowing when to hang em up.


Marquez - Drinking his own ****.

Pac - Getting duped by his own team. Spooning with six men...even in a brotherly way. Not admitting defeat, when he was clearly schooled by Floyd.

Ward - Such a great talent. But, it seems the guy fights 1 time every 6 years these days. I really hope that improves. I don't care why...it's just disappointing. Looking forward to Barrera.

Tua never quite preparing to the level required to get what he deserved except against Crazy Ike who was a damned beast that night. That version of Tua could have won a world championship with luck.

In preparation for the Murray fight, Team Sergio stayed at a local hotel's top floor for weeks and converted it into a gym for Sergio to train. It was known then that they were doing it because his knee was so bad they didn't want him publicly available to fans and media. Once again... all that was for the MURRAY fight.

75+% got their prediction wrong, myself included. And that is why the narrative has been changed so dramatically. We knew everything about that fight going in. Nothing changed. Just most of us got it wrong.

It just smacked of double standards given the way he chastised Joe for retiring instead of taking him on, when he was the 800lb gorilla in the room and preeminent domestic challenger ready to make the leap onto the world stage and potentially have the SMW torch passed to him. With the shoe on the other foot, the Cobra ended up pulling exactly what he badmouthed the Italian Dragon for doing.

 

Devil lurks as usual in the details - a matter of degree of severity, I'd say. We knew the knee was a problem, but I don't think any of us realized that he literally couldn't stand upright after so much as blocking a jab anymore.

I like Sergio more than Cotto every day of the week, but I feel Cotto gets sold a tad short here. It's like the people that constantly bring up how little relevance that fight was are the same ones who are emotional and upset about the whole thing... Surprisingly you didn't even really see many Cotto fans who were representing the other extreme of the argument.

Classic case of boxing fans finding a way to make a literal "No Contest" out of a result they don't like.
