Duran lost to Dejesus at 135 albeit in a one off, we are talking unbeatable, so losing even just once in 60-70 fights, although brilliant, is NOT unbeatable.

Pep would beat Sanchez IMO, he`s probably your best bet in his prime when talking FWTs.

    For what it's worth, Duran-Dejesus 1 was over 135.

De Jesus did not win a 15 round fight though, he had the benefit of only fighting for 10 rounds, and from what i remember Duran was looking in good shape when that fight was ending.

I dont think De Jesus would of beaten him over 15, i think Duran gets to him in the last 5 rounds.

He lost to a fellow LWT tho & both probably weighed the same & this was during his 135 lb championship reign.

Dont get me wrong, Roberto proved who the superior fighter was twice after that but it did still happen.

It's a junior-welterweight bout, so you can say Duran was "unbeaten" at 135.

I don't really buy "unbeatable" or "invincible" anyway.

Does it matter that they were not fighting the Championship distance though ? Arguello lost to Fernandez in a 10 round fight, but i felt there was no question he would of knocked him out in the next 1/2 rounds if the fight was not a 10 round fight.

in terms of records the other person to compete at their prime with SRR is Pep who has one of, if not THE most impressive record in history (especially after the plane crash).

surprised holy hasn't been mentioned at 190. Division is young yes but I've never seen a fighter so far ahead of the class than when he was there. Only qwai could compete with him

Prime RJJ at 168. I don't believe anyone beats him at that weight.

If there was a 130 division in Henry Armstrong's time, no one would beat him. Not even my man Floyd.
