gomez was not at his best weight though, he moved up to 126.

jcc is a good pick but the way taylor troubled him at 140 (JUST slightly past his prime) makes me question his invincibility

tyson is a good choice but the lack of elite fighters during his prime and struggles he had with fighters of lesser ability like tillis again call this to question

Taylor troubled Chavez because thats how good he was (whitch puts into perspective how good Chavez was ) but was tkoed in the end .

Gomez was destroyed in his prime that disqualifies him from unbeatable in his prime.

Gomez ruled the Super/Bantomweights for 4+ years & set the record defences & all by KO/TKO:smoke UNBEATABLE & UNBEATEN OK:bart

He fought Sanchez up at Featherweight something you obviously did'nt know:oops:

    Stop nit-picking:nono

Going by your logic then Tyson was'nt in his prime when he got destroyed by Douglas so that disquailifies him then EH:smoke

Thats actually a valid argument, but Gomez did get a beatdown in his prime by Sanchez witch is the point of the thread.

I can't pick anyone. There's been too many great fighters in history to say any of them would ever be "unbeatable" if they ran into the wrong great on the wrong night, prime or not.

I actually take the view that a fighters prime is when he's master ov his own weight class & thats how i view the the construction ov the thread so obviously it's an open opinion but i take yer point:good
