yeah...that's "the question"...but i think that "the point" the op is making is asking you look at froch's resume with a more objective eye & realise that not many of his opponents HAVE achieved ANYTHING at 168.

    learn to read hooky. :good

I agree - Im a huge Calzaghe fan and when Carl was shouting off earlier in his career about how he was gonna have a great legacy and how he'd easily deal with Joe I laughed and berated him - couldnt stand the fella!

Although I still believe Joe would have schooled him, you cannot deny Froch has fought some damn good opposition the past few years. Whether he's come out on top is not the point. He's stepped up and always brings excitement. Kudos and respect to him I say!

I answered the question. And the point of the thread was hardly honourable you know as well as i do he's after a reaction. And the likes of Abraham and Dirrell wouldve achieved a belt if he wouldnt have beat them. Is fighting for the title not an achievment in itself ?

people certainly put too much stock in the jermain taylor and arthur abraham wins

froch is a badass and you gotta love him for his run of competition..but when you look at what the fighters hes BEATEN have actually achieved at super middleweight... then thats another story

he hasn't surpassed calzaghe, no way

Arthur Abraham- brutally knocked out Taylor and dirrell
Dirrell- first man to beat Abraham, some people actually rank him top 5
Bute- 9 defences of world title, was #2 Smw
Magee- just about to fight for WBA title, challenged for world title already, euro and ibo champ
    Reid- former world champion
Pascal- beat former world champion Kingsley ikeke at the weight
Taylor- dominated lacy, who was calzaghes best win
Glen Johnson- the only man to stop Allan green at 168
