    No worries.
Vidic has it right though. Using Jermaine thingies logic who has achieved anything, ever?

    no-one since benn/eubank times. :think

it's a reactive argument...probably based on all the "froch has a better resume than calzaghe" threads.

ESB has become a bit of a joke on its members (Keyboard Warriors) constantly giving discredit and sometimes abuse to boxers, but Froch is a throwback and no abuse or discredit is justified and we should be thankful his willing to put on the LINE against anyone and you cannot say that about some of the other top p4p tier boxers.

Calzaghe's biggest acheivement is his 0

His best win is a prime Kessler

His best names, were all past their best to the extent I wouldn't have backed him against them the better part of a decade prior.

I rate froch for the same reason I don't rate Calzaghe as high as some of his die hard fans do

Froch is willing to go and travel to fight anyone at any stage of their career

how come joe calzaghe fans dont like froch. are they both not from the uk on the same side ? if i was from the uk and joe cal was my fav someone like froch would be my 2nd. i just liked carl froch resume, he fought the very very best in there primes.loss 2 but some feel he only loss 1.you know how hard it is to beat kessler in his hometown ? so froch gets a pass on that fight.he really only loss to ward other then that he has a hell of a record and resume.thats how me and my people look at him.

Froch badmouthed calzaghe and tried to get into a fight with him for a very long time, Calzaghe basically clowned him in the media then retired.

The butthurt started there and only intensified when Froch actually fought a better comparitive resume of opponents at SMW while travelling over the course of 4 years than Calzaghe did in his entire career

would you have backed froch against prime taylor or prime johnson? 42 y/o glen gave him a tough fight & shot taylor outboxed him for 11 rds.

i wouldn't back froch against the b-hop calzaghe faced...or even the b-hop who is around now. i would back the eubank calzaghe faced to beat froch too.

i wouldn't back froch against prime kessler either...seeing as how he lost to a past his best kessler.

prime reid gives him a much harder fight than the shot to **** reid he faced.

the point the op was making is this pulling apart resume **** cuts both ways...& he's right...however he said it.

i think they are/were both great boxers.

if i'm a fan of one..it's froch cos he's a ****ing warrior but i like calzaghe too. it's absolutely ******ed how people use froch's career as a stick to beat calzaghe with. that pisses people off.

No Froch loses to prime Bhop, Jones and Eubank (as does Calzaghe)

You can pick resume's apart but Joe's comes apart much more easily

Whether or not Froch would have beaten the same people Joe did is sort of irrelevent, it's about the circumstances each fighter fought the guy in

And Froch went on the road and took a lot of tough fights against good opposition 24 fights into his career

Calzaghe spent the majority of his time at home fighting poor opposition, and the times he did go on the road, it was against incredibly old fighters.
