    Ali:

    Joe Frazier
    Ken Norton
    Larry Holmes
    Lennox Lewis
    Wladimir Klitschko

    Tyson:

    George Foreman
    Lennox Lewis
    Bert Cooper
    Buster Douglas
    Shannon Briggs

It's not that I think these would win, but they'd be in with a shout.

Tyson: I'll replace Bowe with Holyfield. He'd have always beaten Tyson.

this is something that I have often wonder too.

the perfect Tyson truely was the Baddest Man on the Planet, I can't think of too many that could have stopped him. So you have to consider he might just have been the Greatest HW that ever lived!

However we don't always perform to perfection, not every single time anyway, so as we know he can be beat under certain circumstances. And Tyson doesn't get a by either as neither should any modern fighters if they had to fight in times of busier scheduals, he would have come up against a Douglas or Holyfield much more often.

I too am not a big LL fan, though like others I do recognise he is an excellent fighter, but has enjoyed too many favourable factors in his career. I still say he was scared as a mouse before the Tyson fight (not a big deal really), you could see it, but more important Tyson was a sedate Tyson, and I asked the question from that very day of that fight to today still, "what MEDICATION was he on with the Robin Givens BS, and for how long" (?), because Mike Tyson was using Meds and I think right up to and including the time of the Lewis fight!

as to the point of others beating him. well given what we know and also what I've stated about placing him too in a much busier period, the real strong, hard hitting punchers could most certainly do it, as well as the great methodical and patient boxers, as long as they weren't intimidated...

    Jefferies
    Louis
JJ Walcott might beautifully steel a victory as he did with Louis and Marciano till he gets pegged.
    Marciano
Ali, but I fear he could be stopped too more than the others here.
Frazier could be a good fight.
Love to see the less skilled but just as tough, maybe more mentally in Chuvalo
Holy sure good proven matches there, but a focused perfect Tyson should beat him.

there will be others too over the long history of Boxing, but those are some of the obvious ones.

We've already seen plenty of evidence to the contrary.

And when did Tyson ever prove he could beat someone even as good as "that glass jawed ******"?
