That may mimic the upcoming fight between Floyd Mayweather, Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao.

In my mind this fight reminds me of the heavyweight bout between Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney.

Tunney, the defensive master and technician, and Dempsey the in and out aggressive fighter that attacks.

I think the fight will end much the same way as well. Tunney found a way to win and successfully adapted to beat the hard charging, fast ,power punching Dempsey.

Dempsey was slightly past his prime, much like Manny is as well.

Is anyone else willing to make a prediction based on previous greats, and or fights?

Does Manny or Floyds style and ability remind you of any other fighters from the past?

to me...someone may say i'm daft....but pacquaios style reminds me a bit of a flyweight champion from the 60s called hiroyuki eibihara.

its not really an answer to your question though

well, how would he do against Mayweather?

Although I am kinda looking at fights , involving fighters with similar styles that have faced each other.... or good a breakdown on hypothetical matchups between similar styles as Manny and Floyd have.
