I haven't seen this fight in almost 5 years or so, I've gone back and re watched it today because I never remember a second where Lewis was in danger but time does that to you and since I'm a big fan of Lewis I thought I might have put the rose tinted glasses but having re watched the fight from start to finish:

    WATCH CHO TALKIN BOUT WILLIS?

The round in question Lewis gets backed up on the ropes about 1.10 to go in the round and eats a few hard shots but as Holyfield come in for the finish he is pushed away with a stiff jab, Holyfield then lands with about 40 seconds to go and Lewis walks right through it as if it didn't hurt him at all. Hell they didn't even show replays of the 1.10 flurry only Holyfield throwing some bombs that hit Lewis' glove. You call people idiots when A. Lewis was hardly even hurt and B. 90% of the boxing world scored that fight to Lewis. Is the rule now that if you land 3/4 power punches in a row you should stop the fight regardless of whether people can fight on or not? For god sake Lewis went the rest of the fight completely out scoring Holyfield to the eyes of anyone not on Don King's pay role...I'm guessing maybe you were the judge who scored the fight to Evander that night...twat.

I forgot to add the note "before the fight" .... My thinking before the PAC-DelaHoya fight was against the consensus...

I had it a draw, because I think I copped out with a drawn round at some point, cant remember exactly..I dont think that was the robbery so many Morales fans made it out to be. They were just sad Erik couldnt go out with a win there.

    Hopkins beat Taylor twice
Morales definitely won the 2nd Barrera fight. He lost the 1st.
    Oscar beat Tito
Oscar beat Shane in the 2nd fight
    Shane beat Cotto
    Winky beat Taylor
    Sturm beat Oscar
Lewis dominated Holyfield in the 1st fight ( I mean it wasn't even close)

yeah i'm a bit surprised with the reactions here in ESB that the fight was a robbery. imo, morales was totally gassed out in the final few rounds that he gave it away to diaz. of course morales was already done and the morales of at least the 2nd pac fight would have little problem winning against david.

I though Mosley was well behind against Mayorga before the KO.

    Many spring to mind :

Lewis Holyfield 1 (Holyfield win) , Castillo Mayweather 1 (Castillo win) , Marquez , Pacquiao 2 (JMM win) .

However the one that kills me to this day is De La Hoya Trinidad i mean come on were them judges serious , absolutley disgracefull , De La Hoya's popularity seemed to be the undoing of him eventually but this descision was just a down right disgrace !!!!!! , however i do seem to be in the minority when saying that ????????:patsch

I thought Zab deserved a count against Tzyu. This wasn't a fighter that had taken a prolonged beating, he had simply ate a couple of good shots. Tzyu was not going to kill him by landing one more shot. It was only the 2nd round, he had won the first and had a chance of recovering. The least you can do for a fighter that trained that hard and is in his first mega fight is give him until 10.
