This thread is the type that's so easily derailed, given ESB's average level of reading comprehension.

I watched Taylor - Wright a few times and always come away with Jermain winning. I just don't see what others do regarding that fight.

something like 80% of fans think Calzaghe beat Hopkins. Its just that the ones who think the contrary are the ones always voicing their opinions

    I thought Oscar Beat Mayweather

I thought Holyfield beat Lewis in the rematch

I felt Oscar beat Sturm for the same exact reasons

    I thought Mercer beat Lewis

    Thought DLH beat Trinidad

felt Holyfield beat Ruiz in the 3rd fight and actually should have won the 2nd by TKO the body shot that dropped ruiz (though he played that one good enough to win an oscar)

Holyfield couldn't even beat Lewis with his God.

Lewis KO 1 OT God (without help).

I too thought Urango beat Rabah
    I thought Taylor beat Spinks
I thought Cotto beat Clottey by a few rounds easy
Also had Oscar beat Sturm, but it was close, could have had a draw, thought Sturm lost it more than Oscar won, but it was Oscar by workrate, as Sturm just didn't do enough but block.

I thought that ODLH-PBF was an entertaining fight.

Not completely against the consensus given that the two non-boxing fans who watched it with me then went on to watch other fights, as they realised what a technical sport it is as a result of that bout.

    WRONG!!!!!

You obviously watched in on Sky Sports....but US TV/fans and 2 of the judges had Mosley ahead!!!

Get your facts in order before getting cheeky!!!

    - I thought Barrera/Morales II was a draw.
    - I thought Oscar/Mayweather could have gone either way.
    - I thought Marquez/Pacquiao I should have been a Marquez win.

    :good

More examples that don't really apply here. Oscar/Mayweather puts you in the large minority. A slight majority =/= consensus. Disagreeing with the concensus means you would have to be in like a 10% minority.

Most people except the most ardent Pacquiao fans had JMM winning the first fight.

I had David Diaz beating Morales very closely but clearly. I liked his pressure, and even though he was very behind coming into the championship rounds, he absolutely battered Morales during them, and I thought came on enough to earn his 5th,6th,and 7th rounds.

I scored Mora-Manfredo II a draw. Sergio had a decent round 2, I think it was, and really rallied over the last three.

I scored Duddu-Smichet clearly to Duddy. Smichet just wasn't getting it done outside the early exchanges.

I had Lewis-Holyfield 2 a draw, but I think Lewis has more of an arguement for winning it. Still, thats my card, and most disagree.

Urango beat Ben Rabah, but it was a close fight.

I felt Hearns should have been given more of a chance to continue in the first Leonard fight.

I had Robinson beating Basilio in their first fight.

Felt Antuofermo-Hagler 1's result was the right decision.
