Limon IV - Not in a technical sense. Frankly, that fight lacked technique from both, but it came at a time when he was thought washed up and not able to sustain anything like the kind of effort he gave that night.

I did not think that the Mugabi win was as good as Sibson, or Minter.

Canera. I do not hear much on the Canera bout, but it is one to watch. Joe was vicious with that counter-right and Canera was getting bounced all over the place.

For some reason I have a soft spot for Primo, so I hate seeing him take a beating. But, my admiration for Louis surpasses to my pity for Primo.

 

When you consider the level opposition, the impact on his legacy and his overall performance those wins are better.

His win over Winky wasn't all that clear. It was pretty ugly imo.

 

Performance as well as quality of opposition.

He outboxed Benitez for the majority of their bout before stopping him at the death, Benitez`s 1st pro loss.

He looked razor sharp in the rematch vs Duran, nobody had ever stopped Duran until that point & to me, Duran looked sharp himself & it was shaping up as a potential ATG fight but Leonard put that 7th rd in the bag using unbelievable cockiness & skill (fake bolo punch then left jab to the face of the great Duran was truly incredible), Ray wasnt gonna be denied that night, this was him at his peak IMO.

1 fight in 5 n half yrs & 0 fights in 3 yrs, comes back to beat 1 of the greatest MWs that ever lived in his 1st fight as a MW vs a Hagler that badly wanted to win, he outboxed Hagler early on & fought him late on when he was gassed, keeping his early lead for an impossible victory, Hagler had not lost in 11 yrs, enough said on that one.
