At least adonis beat a legit opponent in dawson. Zag got knocked down by a 43 yr old man and a shot RJJ so adonis is definitely smashing his chin apart

Stevenson fought at 168. Again, I don't know what you're complaining about. If any of those guys safely made 168 - and they all could. They would beat calzaghe

 

JEFF LACY was a monster and Cal ruined him. Think about this where would he be if Cal didn't beat the shat of him.

Vargas was ruined by tito. Palvik ruined by B Hop. Countless others never the same after a beating.

Joe had the ability with his pace, Ability to raise his game and ability to adapt to any style Literally took the heart, drive, will to win. And when he had to get a Ko.

Joe C was the best SMW i have seen. only fighter i could see giving him problems would be IF him and GGG were from same era and GGG is the same at 168 as 160.
i think GGG will be even greater at 68 which is crazy i know

do you really think he was more special on that night or he had the perfect opponent in front of him ?

imho he would have looked that great against that exact fighter (lacy) for a good decade out of his career.
he wasnt "super" joe that night, he had someone that thought he could beat joe and tried to win which left
him open endlessly for joe to tee off on him. i dont think he was any different in that fight that in many of his
fights but lacy was the perfect opponent to make joe look as good as jow could look.
truly great performance, one of the all time showcase bouts but i dont think it was that specific night, IMHO, that was
Joe on his game against a very game but probably more than game over matched opponent..
