Name a fighter in boxing history who lost fewer rounds than Vitali Klitschko

    Christ Almighty.

This is probably the most ill-informed and desperately stupid post I've ever read. Why bother embarrassing yourself when you patently do not know your stuff?! :huh

Ali lost 5 times in his career, and 3 of those losses came in his last 4 fights once he was completely shot and spent as a top fighter.

Ali only lost twice when he was a top fighter, and those losses were to prime Joe Frazier (himself an ATG heavyweight, and a defeat which Ali avenged twice) and Ken Norton (one of the best heavyweights of the 1970s, and another defeat which Ali twice avenged).

Ali never lost in his 1960s prime, either.

Vitali Klitschko's competition has been poor. Even the most ardent (but still rational) Vitali fan must admit that. If he beats one or more of Haye, Adamek and Povetkin, then perhaps his resume will stand the test of time a little better than it would in its current shabby state, but there is no hiding from the fact he has fought weak opposition - whether it's all his fault, partly his fault, and not his fault at all. Historical record does not document faults and excuses, it documents reality.

And the reality is that the best wins on Vitali's ledger are Corrie Sanders, Samuel Peter, Cris Arreola, etc etc etc.

If you think that compares to Ali's win-resume (Foreman, Frazier x2, Liston x2, Norton x2, and many others), then you're a bit of a moron, irrespective of your horribly infantile race/media comments.

And that's not 'old-time' bias, because guys like Lewis and Holyfield built far, far stronger resumes than Vitali.

i dont think he's a tool per se.

but i would have liked to see proof backing up his claims.

i love random bits of boxing knowledge, its great.

what you will notice is the theme i have ran with, is one seeking proof of the never losing a round prior to byrd, and noone has delivered.

Yeah probably no one could match him for that.

Did he lose a round or two against Sanders? Maybe even got knocked down? Can't remember.

The point people dont understand is, even if his era is weak, other boxers who fought in weak eras lost alot more rounds then he ever did. Vitali and Wlad are some of the best defensive fighters in boxing history.

wladimir? he got starched 3 times. he isnt nowhere near one of the best defensive boxers in history.

as for vitali, look at his face after the sanders, lewis and johnson fights. he aint no defensive master either.
