    You really are CLUELESS!

I cringe when I read your posts.

You're completely deluded, disrespectful and haven't got a clue about the business side of boxing.

Who the f**k are you, to be calling a professional boxer a coward?

No, Roy didn't have a chance to face Joe sooner.

    It was vice versa.

But while Roy was unifying at LHW, and going on to fight at HW, Joe was in Europe, in a division below, fighting the Thornberry's, Staries's and McIntyre's of the world.

Joe would have had ZERO chance of beating a prime Roy.

He struggled with Robin Reid FFS.

Now go away and get yourself educated, or do us all a favour and delete your account.

Calzaghe is a problem for Jones at any point in his career. Styles make fights and Calzaghe is all wrong for Jones.

It's just like Naseem v Barrera.

By the same token, I also think Andre Ward is all wrong for Jones, just like B-Hop was too.

RJJ was one of my favourites. Brilliantly entertaining, but he was far from unbeatable.

    He gets on my nerves.

Did you see what he typed about three months ago?

I posted Joe's quote from 1999 where he said - "I'm not chasing Roy Jones. Be honest, Roy's a good fighter and I don't want tough fights."

    His response to that was:

I think Joe was just saying "Look Roy, stop messing me about, and let's fight."

    Ha!

he sees what he wants to see, loudon
    same with 'team elite'
been messaging bailey over the last couple of weeks and we've been discussing belts. really pleased that he's been open to discuss it, and it was very civil.
but assassin is the type of person who becomes 'emotionally invested' in british fighters, and that's a recipe for disaster.
until he gets a healthy perspective on things and loses that, he will refuse to see what is right in front of him

I respect your opinion, but I think it's vice versa.

Joe has always been easy to hit. He's always been susceptible to right hands. As great as he was, his defence was never great.

We're talking here about a 25 year old Roy Jones.

Roy was faster, had better footwork, better timing, better reflexes, better skills, a greater selection of shots, was more accurate and had a lot more fire power.

He beats him in almost every department.

Then you have to look at the mental side of things.

Would Joe have taken the fight? If we suppose he did for the sake of argument, how would he have fought?

Frank W says that Joe tried to bottle it against Lacy at the last minute, until he and Enzo talked him round.

From the research I've done, it seems convincing to me.

Styles make fights, but how does a guy who struggles with the likes of Robin Reid beat a mid 20's Roy?

    I just can't see it.

Did you just call Jones a coward???
Cal stood no chance of beating a prime Jones.
    Yall musta forgot!!!

Jones was not even half the fighter he was when Cal beat him. What do you mean Jones could've fought him sooner? Cal was not even on the boxing map when Jones was winning at 168. Jones had to go to 175 because he had no challenges at 168. Jones's resume shits all over Cal's. You can't lie to anyone when it comes to Jones Calzaghe. I was around. Stop lying to the masses.

Because of his Fragile Glass Jaw it only takes one punch to KO Jones. To act like there are no past ATG's from 160 to 175 that could not have done that is laughable.

Jones wasn't even willing to fight the best of his time much less would he fight ATG's from the past so this conversation is a moot point really.

Jones had a carefully crafted career. People that know Boxing know why.

Carefully crafted career? How do you plan that out, lmao. How do you hide your chin in boxing for 15 years???

Only an armchair fan could utter such idiotness, lmmfao.

You're a joke to this entire forum.

Do you know how many great fighters have been ko'd early in their careers past and present who turned out to be ATG's and legends. Your pathetic math doesn't add up.

Who are the best that Jones didn't face, lmao???

Let him tie himself up by listing a load of names who Roy ducked/avoided.

Then when he's listed them, ask him to produce any sort of evidence on how/why he ducked them all.

Cal beats a washed up Jones and his fans think that Jones always fought that way lmao.

You can talk about who Jones didn't fight, but those same guys that you mentioned didn't fight Jones Toney or Hop. And when they did, they both were past it. Nobody thinks Cal beat Hop except Cal's fans, and everyone knows Jones was damn near shot when Cal fought him.

Those same guys Jones ducked don't have Jones on their resume either so what can he really say? They fought Jones and Hop waaaay after their primes were over. You don't get props for that. Camacho nor Norris don't get props for beating Leonard.
