    What stands out for me concerning Holmes's attributes is his recuperative powers and his handspeed.

    True but it took a long time for the power to come. They trained to improve it for quite t time before it suddenly appeared.

    Timing might be partially aligned to technique.

    While he's obviously not an ATG, Sven Ottke achieved far more success than the apparent sum of his parts.

    He was fairly small for 168, little power, and not overwhelmingly quick or athletic. Despite this, he was (officially) undefeated throughout his career, most of it at world title level.

    Yeah, I ended up listing guys who weren't know for speed and power basically...Tiger also had an elite chin.
