Pac got KOd in the 3rd round during his teens when he was still growing. Another 3rd round KO loss due to weight loss dehydration. But these losses did not deter Pac to become the #1 fighter in the planet.

Let this be an inspiration to BoomBoom Bautista, Amir Khan, Ricky Hatton, etc. that there is life after a KO loss.

Honestly, and I hate to say it, but Khan has come back from what could have been a career ending KO to win a strap. Honestly thought he lose all his confidence.

The Collazo stoppage was pretty much bs, though.

First name to spring to mind was Oscar Larios, who was starched in a single round against Israel Vasquez in 1997.

Five years later he stopped Izzy in the 12th round of their second fight, and ended up having a pretty solid career, though he did lose in the third fight agaisnt Vasquez.

Jawny! What better and more inspirational example is there than the career of the Quiet Man?

Damn, ya beat me to it! Larios was knocked cold by Izzy and went on to have a very fruitful career. That guy was class all the way and had balls to match.

    hmm says. . .

yup. those three pac losses weren't that severe but really good lessons which helped him improve and get to where he is at.

first loss was a lesson in being too "over confident"; he got careless
second loss was a lesson in managing weight.
third loss was a lesson in improving his skillset; too one dimensional

Lewis and Wlad don't really dit the category.

    They were already well established.

I have a feeling that Khan will make his mark eventually.

Sandy Sadler was KO'd in his second fight.

That was the first and ONLY time in over 144 (103 by KO) fights...

Manny has come close to getting KTFO several times since being stopped.

He was in serious trouble against Larious and JMM.:deal
