Yes true but no other time in his career when he came back did they give him half a tough time Mike did. Right from the start he had Larrys measure, so what does that say about the other fighters.. Mike was so scientific it gets over looked because he was so fast and powerful.

Sorry mate, The first round demonstrated to me that Lennox was not intimated of Mike at all. He showed he could fight rough if he wanted to. Larry was fighting scared from the beginning.

Look how tight he was, not even keeping his arms up but pretecing his body. Lennox is far bigger & heavier. A good big man will always beat a good small man. And he proved it when they fought.

SP Mauler, he tore his rotator cuff and would have destroyed his supraspinatus ligament had he not according to doctors. You are a fool if you think he is a quitter. He was also in their with Corrie Sanders who was a puncher as well as Sam Peter. There is no way Lewis KO's Vit if he were in better shape. With two good eyes, Vitali KO's Lummox.

SP Mauler, he had an old Larry's measure. Larry destroys Mike in their primes.

SP Mauler, I agree Mike was older and slower when he fought Lewis but the same result happens in their primes.

Quitter and steroid user. Did he or did he not quit?

When Lennox upper cut him in the 6th? Vitali was WEAK he was clinching onto Lennox with all his energy but you could see he was weak, Lewis was too tired to take charge and finish him. The fact that Lennox was so out of shape and ill prepared and won by round 6 sums it up.

    Great Fighters
    Mike
    Lewis
    etc

    Good fighters
    Vitali

Mike beats any version of Larry........

Mike even struggled a bit with Bone Crusher and struggled with Ruddock, whom Lewis destroyed in 2.

If he barley beats Tilles he is not touching Holmes. Period.

Steriods give me a break! That was in his amateur career. Lets bring up his junior high school brawls while we are at it.

I've just re-read Mickey Duff's autobiography he picks Tyson to beat Liston because of his speed. He might be right.

He was tiring but Vitali always gets a second wind, unlike Wlad, he has never punched himself out
