Tyson and Liston could both have done it. I think Tysons speed would have been much too much for George.
I think Liston could overpower him using that jab to set up the bombs.

In all seriousness, I think if Max Baer and George Foreman stood toe to toe trading punches...it would be a real toss up.

Good post. It's true that you haven't really been hit that hard until you start raping people and seeing demons, and then presumably raping demons. See Tyson and his eventual prison sentence. Buster Douglas hit him with a terrible **** punch. Back to the Samoan though... Tua perfected his **** punch while in the mountains of Nepal... under the tutelage of a mysterious master...

I agree. Prime Liston was I think, more than a match for prime Foreman.
The thing about Foreman was, he was pure brute and no brain.
Ali taught the boy how to think.
In fact, once Foreman realized it all, it made his come back to champion possible.

i think tua would of koed foreman!! forman had totally the wrong style for tua.
1] forman stood tall with his chin exposed
2] formans defense was with his arms stretched out to give himself range and bully fighter back. [ he couldn't of bullied tua back]
3] tua has a granite chin
4] tua had the better stamina
5] tua isn't some you can knock off balance easily [witch was half formans offense]
6] tua was a bigger hitter!!
    7] tua was quicker
dont get me wrong i like forman but its a clash of styles that doesn't work well for forman. also ali couldn't stand toe to toe with forman and he new it thats why he didn't!! he out thought forman not out fought him.
tyson would have also been to much of a hand full with sheer speed. tyson and frazier are not the same! marciano had a great chin but i dont no if he would of been big enough to trade, waldimir would i think make for a boring 12 round win for forman but forman vs vital would be very interesting. also liston would be a great fight that id pick forman to win.

Vitali would bang with him. Granite jaw, size and power.

Edit Vitali would stand and trade with any ATG heavyweight.

    Tyson and Louis.

Louis would have beat Foreman constantly to the punch and Tyson was faster than Foreman. Speed Kills.

People keep comparing Tyson to Frazier, they had totally different styles. Tyson would have ducked most of Foremans windmills.

Think Mosely Vs Margarito. Small fast guy beats **** out of bigger slower guy.
